Formerly known as Surtaj Sweet Centre, now called the Bhavani Sweet Centre. Whilst there is a large range of sweet pastries and traditional indian sweets they also serve a full of savoury snacks and meals such as samosas, breads, side dishes, rice and curries. It's essentially a full on take-away that operates as a sweet centre. I established that the majority of the sweets aren't vegan on the basis that they contain milk powder and ghee. It's always worth asking. There are other places close by which sell sweets that are vegan so just explore and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of this fascinating road in Leicester.
