A Flavour Sensation - Edit
So glad we decided to drive the 30 minutes from our hotel, as the food we had here was superb.
Read moreThe menu was extensive and after much deliberation we decided to share the following:
STARTERS
*Vada Pav
*Corn Cheese Tikki
MAINS
*Channa Mosala
*Soya Rahara
*Tofu Makhani
RICE / BREADS
*Jeera / Steamed
*Garlic Naan
*Butter Naan
*Peshwari Naan
All of our dishes were so flavourful, with the corn cheese Tikki, Channa Masala and Soya Rahara our personal favourites. I must also comment on the Naan breads, which were exceptional, and it was nice to be able to enjoy a red wine and beer too.
Staff and service were excellent and in total our bill came to £80.
Pros: Great food, Extensive menu, Staff

Little Village Gem - Edit
I live around the corner so visit often, it’s our favourite place to eat as a family. Even when we don’t book we are always welcomed in and room made for us. The food is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. I’d highly recommend ordering the broccoli Manchurian, the best ever!

Excellent food - Edit
Jan 2025 - We’re visiting the area and wanted a nice vegan meal that could be delivered to us on this freezing snowy night. The delivery was quick and the food was delicious. I immediately recommended this restaurant to two others who have connections to the area. We will definitely try more of their delicious food while we’re here. #Veganuary
Read moreAug 2025 - Visiting again and decided to eat in the restaurant this time. There was one other couple there and the service was appallingly slow. The food wasn't as good as I remembered from January but I've eaten a lot of Indian food in the last 6 months and I think I now have too much to compare it with. I'm not sure we would eat there again as there are a couple of other options not too far away.

Amazing vegan Indian food - Edit
We had the most wonderful meal at Bhaji Pala in Stockport. From start to finish, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious - bursting with flavour and beautifully made.
Read moreWe tried so many dishes - samosa chaat, pani puri, uttapam, and so much more - and each one was perfect. Every bite took me back to my favourite food memories from my time in India, which made me so happy.
It’s rare to find a place where every single dish is done so well, but Bhaji Pala really delivers. If you love authentic, vibrant Indian food, this is an absolute must-visit.
Pros: Amazing menu, Wonderful staff, Out of this world food

Authentic and delicious! - Edit
We loved our visit to Bhaji Pala! The restaurant had an authentic feel and they had an extensive and varied menu with lots of tasty sounding dishes.
Read moreWe started with a portion of Onion Bhaji and Corn Cheese Balls. The Onion Bhaji came as a portion of three and was absolutely delicious! They were crispy, and the flavour was just so good – maybe the best I've ever had! The Corn Cheese Balls were also really tasty – they were more like fritters than balls and had a really good flavour.
Then for our mains we ordered the Tofu Palak and Tofu Makhani, both with a side of Veg Fried Rice. Both curries were creamy and flavoursome, although the Tofu Palak was too spicy for me. That didn't matter though as my wife had more of that and I had the Tofu Makhani which was delicious! The Veg Fried Rice was also nice big portions and also tasty.
We also got a Cheese Kulcha Naan and a Peshwari Naan. Both were lovely soft, fresh bread. The cheese one had a nice cheesy flavour and the Peshwari Naan had a lovely creamy coconutty filling – it was absolutely delicious!
We also shared a side of Poppadom & Chutneys which were light, crispy and delicious. Although I couldn't finish them because I was stuffed from all the other food!
I also had a Tropical Tiki cocktail, which was very tasty although I'm not sure how much alcohol was in it as it did taste of fruit juice and didn't really give me a buzz.
Our server was also lovely and the prices were very good value with our whole feast coming to less than £70!
Pros: Delicious food, Great value, Lovely server

Amazing flavours and best naan - Edit
Amazing to have an all vegan Indian with amazing flavours and regional dishes, much wider choice than a standard Indian restaurant. The portions are huge making it very good value for money. We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy but the staff were working very hard and efficient friendly service. The garlic naan bread was absolutely amazing and there were some very interesting dishes cannot wait to go and try more.

Great food. But check your spice tolerance! - Edit
I've been here a few times. There is no indication of how spicy the food is. The first time, I got caught out and had steam coming out of my ears. The second time, I checked with the waiter, but despite him telling me it was mild, it was still very spicy. Having said that, I did actually enjoy both dishes, but you might need to check your spice tolerance when you come here.
