Small cafe in Art Noveau est. 2015 and became vegan in 2017. Makes various dishes, including cakes, cookies and desserts. Offers fresh juices, smoothies, coffee and tea. Breakfast offered till 12pm. Lunchtime deals with soup, salad and main. Daily specials. Hosts music concerts with eg. mantras, bhajans, Latvian folk songs. Note that kitchen stops one hour before closing. Reported closed September 2022.

We got a delicious 'amuse bouche' and the beetrout soup was very tasty (even to a non vegan - my friend ^^)
I liked the burger but for my friend it was lacking flavour...
So if you go with "non-vegans" let them try something else ;)

Little, cute and very cozy restaurant in a convenient, quite central location. We tried a few cakes and coffee yesterday and it was absolutely delicious.

Read moreHigh quality vegan food (they even have healthy burgers!), served in a cosy home-like yet classy atmosphere, great dessert (best vegan Napaleon in town!) and hot drink selection with non-diary milk. Wonderful music events happening occasionally. Miss this place a lot since I have moved to Copenhagen.

В сентябре мне посчастливилось побывать в Баджан кафе, и я уверенна что только люди с добрым и открытым сердцем могут создавать такую атмосферу и потрясающе вкусную еду, это чистый прасад друзья. Еда там главное и она реально наполняет энергией. Безумно крутой персонал, мне кажется они читают мысли )) и главное такие искренние улыбки когда они приносят еду, сразу ощущения заботы. Теперь у меня мечта открыть такое место в Москве. Настоятельно рекомендую!!!

Здесь особая атмосфера - будто возвращаешься в Индии, и ты снова окутан любовью. Кухня требует особых похвал - в Латвии много вкусных мест, но очень редко найдёшь вегетарианскую кухню. Здесь удалось это реализовать

Read moreThe burgers are great, although the one I had had too much sauce in it (which made it feel a little heavy/greasy). Still very tasty though.
It might be a little bit more expensive than other places in Riga, but it's totally worth it.
If you're allergic to New Age/yoga vibes, I would advise not going there;)

we passed here when walking around in the art nouveau district and decided to come back to eat and loved it. first of all, you can get flavoured water to drink for free, you get some tasty appetizers for free and the food is just delicious. all this is served by extremely friendly staff. best place we ate in Riga !

A fab place to go and eat some delicious vegan food. Loved the general vibe it's chilled and has a cosy feel to it. The cakes are lush too.Would definately recommend it 👍🏾

Thank you very much for enjoyable meal and just having some nice time experience every time when visiting Bhajan Cafe. The staff is always friendly and very welcoming, making you feel like at home. The meals are delicious and above all very healthy, wide and diverse choice for vegetarians and vegans. Also very detailed and individually tailored approach to each guest is always at place. Adjustments to some meals to match guest's personal needs or preferences and clear explanations on every dish or drink that's on offer. Clearly beautiful place to visit for an enjoyable meal experience. P.S for the coffee lovers, I have to say.. that the coffee in Bhajan Cafe is the best in the area.

A place with soul: meaningful music, best sweets in Riga (vegan and otherwise health friendly), food made with Love, special vibes everytime you enter this little world of its own. No alcochol served, so this place gathers completely different customers. There you can even come for a nice live concert. Highly recommended :)
