Lunchtime deals with soup, salad and main. Daily specials. Hosts music concerts with eg. mantras, bhajans, Latvian folk songs. Note that kitchen stops one hour before closing. Reported closed September 2022.

we passed here when walking around in the art nouveau district and decided to come back to eat and loved it. first of all, you can get flavoured water to drink for free, you get some tasty appetizers for free and the food is just delicious. all this is served by extremely friendly staff. best place we ate in Riga !

Calm heaven in the middle of a bussy city centre - Edit
I truly love this place. Their quiche with almond ricotta has already obtained a stable place in my life years ago, hope it never wanishes from their menu. As goes for the other menu, they change it time to Time, always offering something new. They may seem like an indian place, but even if they have some good indian options, they also servē all kinds of foods. I love that you can experience various tastes un one meal, as they use their spices very creatively so different options really have their own bouquet of flavours. The atmosphere is always very calm and the stuff - sweet.

Great place if You crave for something more than just streetfood or fast business lunch. Where every other place around seems like is just in for serving fastfood, this place has more attention to details. A little bit higher on the price but thats understandable.

Such a cute, warm little place inside. Very inviting. Warm colours, pillows on the benches, soothing music playing. Service was great! The gentleman who was working was really kind and professional.
Read morePrior to ordering they bring you these bread like balls with this amazing vegan butter. The flavours were a great surprise and had you very excited for your main dish. It tasted of fall/winter, a calm relaxing day and a stroll through the forest. ordered the big burger and I’m happy I did! It certainly is big and package full of flavour. The bun was nice and soft, the patty had a crisp layer, the veg was fresh and the sauce was the perfect match. My tastebuds went for a ride. The potato wedges were really nice to. Usually fries are fries but these ones were just a bit extra flavourful and not greasy. I love the tomato salsa ketchup they serve as well. Very fresh tasting and light. For desert I had a new chocolate cake they had. It was flavourful, light and the perfect size!
I would come back for sure! Would love to try everything on the menu! Prices are very reasonable as well.

Had a delicious lunch. Good selection, good value and delicious. And has a fantastic cake selection. Had to have an extra one! Staff really friendly. It's handy if you are visiting the National Museum of Latvian Art.

Everything we tried was delicious but there were some dishes that were some more stand-outs than others (the cold beetroot soup and carrot lox bruschetta were excellent). They made the best Napoleon cake of the 3 we tried in Riga as the pastry was not soggy and the vanilla cream was delicate: just like it should be. The only comment I'd make here is that the service needs a little work. The servers are lovely and friendly, but on both visits, it took a long time for us to get served.

What a cute and cozy restaurant! I sent an email yesterday asking for a table for today, they confirmed it, but when we arrived, they totally forgot about it. The table that they gave us was not the best of them at all. Despite this and the fact that my grapefruit juice was too sour, the food was amazing! We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the quinoa risotto, they were both spectacular! Prices totally affordable and nice staff. And they gave also a free starter, so good (2 little herb breads with paté) for each person. Great atmosphere.

Pleasant cafe in Art Nouveau neighborhood - Edit
Bhajan offers 100% vegan food in the Art Nouveau neighborhood. Not everything was available on the menu this evening and we took three pasta dishes and the 'sea' platter. Food was good, portions were quite generous but pasta dishes are rather simple. However, they have good desserts. I took a huge chocolate cake that was very good. The service is nice as well as the place. Prices are fair and the whole experience was pleasant.

Nicely situated in the Art Nouveau area, this upscale but casual cafe has the best vegan food in Riga. Every meal is intricately prepared and presented. It’s a true pleasure to eat here. The desserts are to kill for.
Read moreI had the cauliflower soup which was a complex mix of complementary flavours. The mushroom risotto was flavoursome. The Napoleon wafer cake was crisp (unlike the sludgy version at Terapija) and the cheesecake really good.
Start here and if your budget is tight move on to Nirvana and then finally to Terapija. They’re all good but this place is head and shoulders above the others.

Beautiful cafe. I had the cauliflower soup and my hubby had the quinoa bowl. Had a raw mango cheesecake style dessert. If you are visiting Riga and want a healthy reasonably priced lunch I’d throughly recommend this place.

This place is just wonderful...To start with,they gave us free appetizer of some delicious home baked bread with a vegan pate,and it was delicious. The food tastes so good...It's just right. The prices are very reasonable compared to other vegan restaurants. The place is very cozy and atmospheric. The staff are lovely. Highly recommend😄

Very relaxing peaceful atmosphere, loved it so much! The dishes I had were amazing so that I returned the next day. You have to try Moroccan lentil soup and the Napoleon, a crispy cake with cream, as well as the chai and the mango cake which I will never forget :-)
