We ordert Drinks and 2 Main dishes, 1 salad. After 30 minutes they served my Juice.

Amazing food don't miss it!! This was one of the highlights of khao Lak! The food is just divine and diverse and healthy and all made fresh. Please support this small local amazing restaurant by visiting if you're in the area, you'll make yourself a favour.

The best vegan restaurant in town and for sure one of the best on my list. We went for 1 day and came back every single day until we had to leave. They offer such a variety of different food with no additives and all home made. Marie is such a nice person, she even made different cheeses for us to try just because she know I loved her cheeses. The vibe in her restaurant is very homely, Cody and welcoming as well. So, in a nutshell-go there - vegan or not - you will love the food and the people! I wish we had a restaurant like this in Germany-I would go every day! ♥️

Good service, good quality food and passionate owner. They didn’t hesitate when I came up with additions to my Buddha bowl. The owner brought me some self made vegan cheese out of cashews and black garlic to try. Can totally recommend!

A gem of a place and worth a detour! - Edit
Our visit to Beyond The Root in Khao Lak, Thailand on November 3rd was awesome. We had coordinated our visit with Maria, the owner, as we had a rather large group of 23 people. Maria and her team did a commendable job by offering us an extensive buffet at a very reasonable price, and their enthusiasm for vegan food was apparent from the get-go.

While we didn't explore the regular à la carte menu, the buffet offered a selection of dishes from it, and they were so so good. Beyond The Root's team exhibited a clear passion for veganism. They had a good variety, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. They even supply some of the local restaurants and hotels with vegan products like meats and cheeses!
Beyond The Root's commitment to promoting veganism was evident in the diverse and well-prepared dishes.
It's a place worth visiting if you're in Khao Lak, whether you're a dedicated vegan or just curious to explore this culinary path. Thank you to Maria and the team at Beyond The Root for an enjoyable dining experience!

We ate here almost every day of our stay. Why? BECAUSE THEY HAVE SOOO MUCH DELICIOUS STUFF TO CHOOSE FROM 😭🤍 For real, i’ve rarely seen sooo much variety. Loved it, every meal was a straight 10/10 especially the burgers!! 🍔 Staff was pure gold. Cant wait to come back!

Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich, die Gerichte frisch und köstlich, das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis top. Thai Gerichte gibt es schon für 85 Baht und die Portionen sind relativ groß. Die Inhaberin Maria legt großen Wert auf die Qualität und gute Zutaten und das merkt man.

Wir sind schließlich zweimal täglich hergekommen und es war definitiv ein Highlight hier in Khao Lak. Jedes Gericht, dass wir ausprobiert haben, war großartig und manche sogar noch besser. Auch die Kuchen (Schokoladenkuchen, Käsekuchen, Apfelkuchen mit warmer Vanillesoße) waren köstlich.
Während unserer ca. 6 Wochen in Thailand war dies unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Nachdem wir auf unserer Reise viele durchwachsene Restauranterlebnisse hatten, war dies wirklich ein tolles Highlight.
Vielen Dank auch an das tolle Team mit dem großartigen Service.

The owner let us sample some of her home made vegan cheese. The goats cheese with chilli praprica was one of the best vegan cheeses I have tasted. Prices were very cheap compared to Australian vegan cheeses.
