Had BFM, Unami fries, bourbon slider. Every single plate including the cucumber side salad that came with the BFM was so tasty. Highly recommend

An Exquisite Spread - Edit
The service was friendly and efficient from the moment we walked in and the staff were knowledgeable without being OTT.
Read moreWe got the tasting menu. It was very good value and nice portion sizes. The flavours were delicious. We were particularly impressed with how the cucumber course complemented the Korean mushrooms. My partner doesn't even like mushrooms and he really enjoyed it. We found the cornbread a little bit heavy as a starter but the flavour was still lovely. Usually I'm more of a savoury person but the dessert was incredible and potentially the highlight of the meal. We would definitely recommend for a fancy but still affordable meal out in Copenhagen.
Pros: Good value, Diverse flavours, Nice portions
Cons: Limited red wine in the wine pairing

We had to choose between the 'Ark' and this place and I guess we made a good choice with Beyla. Located on the suburbs rather, you wouldn't expect a restaurant like this here, but it's well worth the walk (25 min from Radhuspladsen). Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering what you get (and being in Copenhagen), it's worth every cent.
Read moreFrom entering to leaving, we just felt spoilt by the lovely staff and the culinary creations. We both took the six-course dinner (including the slider...), with every dish being innovative, flawless, just on point. Star cuisine presented in an unpretentious manner. I like the idea of them growing their own mushrooms!
And our waitress was so relaxed and nice, even as the place began to crowd later that evening. I even was able to have a little chat with the owner. Hats off mate, til next time!

We had several surprise dishes which we could share. All very delicious and fitting to eachother. Portions could be a little bigger.

Fine vegan dining - Edit
Not only is the food delicious, the menu entirely vegan, but the restaurant has a trendy vibe with excellent service. In addition, everything is house made. We enjoyed the pickles for starters- tasty and not too spicy, followed by the sliders with fries, special dipping sauce and the gnocchi. I would definitely go back for the sliders!

Fancy vegan restaurant! - Edit
Beyla is a fancy restaurant with a trendy interior. Because of our group size (six people) we could only order the 6 course menu which was tasty, especially the fried mushroom from their own mushroom farm, but predictable and not that big. Of course sizes are small at a multi course dinner, but after 6 courses you should be full, right? There were a few 'easy' salads in there and I expected a bit more to be honest, but maybe I'm spoiled by the vegan multi course restaurants in the Netherlands. Nonetheless we had a great night with good food, so do visit!

Every bite was amazing. I recommend the gnocchi and sliders. It was quite pricey so I didn't get the set menu but it looked incredible too.

Will haunt my dreams - Edit
We got the set tasting menu, and the food was great. The highlight for me was the crispy mushrooms in gochujiang, which will haunt my dreams in the best way. If you only get one dish, get this. The potato gnocchi in eggplant was another favorite, as well as the asparagus with miso hollandaise. If you see miso hollandaise on their menu, do not hesitate. I also really liked their soy feta in the zucchini dish and the sauce (maybe hazelnut?) on the tomato dish. If I was in town for the weekend I would definitely come back here for their brunch menu.

I recommend this fine dining - Edit
There is a couple of vegan fine dining restaurants in Copenhagen nowadays, and Beyla is one of them. I have not tried every vegan fine dining restaurants in Copenhagen, yet, but Beyla is definitely on of the best.
Read moreThe decor of the restaurant is quite nice (however not my taste), and I like the detail with the toilet hidden behind a shelf.
I was here with some friends, and because we where more than 4, we are obliged to order the tasting menu. It's fine with me, since I like many things, and probably will choose a tasting menu anyway. And they also pay regard to things like gluten allergy.
The menu changes every season, so you can try new dishes if you come once in a while. And I think the food is very great, recommendable and varied.
Be aware that Beyla is fine dining, so expect the food to be quite expensive (395 DKK for a tasting menu). But if you are into fine dining, I will recommend Beyla. (I will also recommend Bistro Verde*, which I think is a bit better than Beyla, but Beyla is still great).
There are two downsides however:
First and foremost, the staff don't speak Danish. My English is not the best, so I find it a bit annoying that I am forced to speak English in Denmark.
Furthermore they use online menu as default in the restaurant. And if you ask for a paper menu, you will get an outdated one. I think it is a minus that the restaurant "forces" people to use their phone when they are at a restaurant. I prefer to have my phone in my jacket or bag when I am at a restaurant with friends, and prefer to not use it at all, since I rather want to be social with them I eat with.
I still end up with 5 out of 5 stars for Beyla. But it is not flawless 5 stars, so I will recommend the restaurant to hire staff that speak Danish, and offer an up to date paper menu as the default option.

Absolutely fantastic - Edit
Went for dinner with a non-vegan friend and both of us absolutely loved our meal. We got the tasting menu and it did not disappoint! Highlights were the goguchang mushrooms and the celeriac with hazelnut and chocolate sauce- such surprising and delightful flavor combos. On top of the great food, the staff was awesome and gave great wine recommendations. Would 100% go back.

Fantastic dinner set - Edit
This was the best dining experience we had in Copenhagen.
Read moreThe service was flawless, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant.
We got the dinner tasting menu (for two people) which included 5 dishes and a dessert.
Portions were small, but altogether it makes for a very good meal (we didn't leave hungry at all).
The dishes were yummy, although I must say that I found the ingredient combinations to be rather safe. But anyway, they tasted great.
From the 3 restaurants they have, this is the most affordable one, and I think it's worth it.
Looking at the menu of the other two, I think you pay more for the experience rather than for the food. But that's just my opinion.
Pros: great food, nice vibe, good value

Nice sweet brunch items - Edit
Good food and great service. I stopped by for brunch and tried the mushroom toast, banana bread, scone, and Japanese pancakes.
Read moreEverything was tasty. The banana bread was the highlight for me. I also loved the scone (and the delicious jam it came with!). Probably the best vegan scone I’ve had. But that was just a very simple well done pastry while I felt the banana bread was more elaborate.
The pancakes I found a bit too sweet. They felt and tasted like a cake.
Overall, I would not say it’s a must if you’re in Copenhagen, but if you do stop by, it’s nice.
Pros: Friendly service , Banana bread and scone
Cons: Small menu

Got the 6 dish tasting menu with wine/non-alcoholic pairing. Non-alcoholics were great, sadly they messed up the timing and almost forgot one set of drinks. The staff was very nice though and apologized for this. Their own mushrooms and other starters were great, the main dish less tasty but ok. Bit crowded but nice athmosphere.

Best vegan sliders - Edit
Everything tasted great. The cornbread and sliders were standouts to me. All in all probably the best value is to order the tasting menu for two with the wine pairings rather than order a la carte with a bottle of wine. The price is not cheap, but would definitely go back for a special occasion.
