Delicious Breakfast! - Edit
Great vegan pancakes and avocado toast. Flavorful coffee and non-dairy milk options. Super cute little cafe with outdoor seating. We almost came back that afternoon for their vegan bowls!

Beautifully Bohemian - Edit
Visited for brunch and was not disappointed. Although a little on the pricey side, the food delivery, presentation and staff friendliness and attentiveness is all worth it. Being vegan and gluten free was so easy with their super clear menu! Beautiful food, beautiful interior.

Very delicious! - Edit
We had a really nice Açaí Blueberry Banana Smoothie Bowl with Granola and Buckwheat Pancakes with Cacao, Vanilla, Fresh Berries, Banana and Coconut Yogurt. It was very delicious! Unfortunately the optional Vanilla Ice for the Pancakes was not offered dairy free, so we go without it.

Nice but small servings - Edit
I ordered smashed avo and my friend ordered raw pad Thai. The smashed avo was just 1 small piece of toast, although the toppings were nice it was way too small to be $17.50 and I ended up paying for an extra piece of toast. The pad Thai was yum and a decent size, but as we were sitting there someone else was complaining about the muesli and the smoothie bowl being tiny too. Hopefully the serving sizes increase because the food was really nice! And lots of vegan options :)

Pretty decent - Edit
Service was great! There were multiple options for vegans as many dishes could also be adapted to suit. The quality of food was nothing amazing however it’s a really nice spot to sit with good coffee! Overall I would recommend this place as there are not too many vegan options around for brunch. Prices were pretty standard. We had a the macro bowl and toast with some sides and both dishes were pretty good but not outstanding

Many vegan options - Edit
Not many places this good for vegans in Port. I had a really nice Buddha bowl for lunch and a lemon slice for dessert. There were lots of options for breakfast too.

OK café with some vegan options - Edit
I enjoyed their outdoor seating but I found the food (a gluten free granola with coconut yoghurt) quite average. My partner had an acai bowl (quite an average one really).
Read moreUnfortunately at 10.30am on a weekday they had "run out of pancakes" and the service wasn't friendly at all, the waitresses barely spoke a word to us.
Pros: Vegan options
Cons: Not very tasty, Mediocre service

Top breakfast - Edit
Excellent cafe for breakfast/lunch, lots of vegan and vegetarian options marked clearly on the menu. Good coffee, nice relaxed spot away from the busy end of Port Douglas but much closer to the beach. Staff friendly and helpful, enough options you can go there on multiple days.

Yum vegan options! - Edit
It's been a few years since I've been to Port Douglas, so I was very excited to come across Betty's with some delicious vegan options!
Read moreThe menu has a few straight up vegan options, as well as some items that can be made vegan.
I had the cacao, vanilla and buckwheat pancakes (with berries, banana, walnuts and a cacao/coconut sauce). My husband had the granola with dried figs on our first visit, and then the tomato dish on our second.
The pancakes themselves were delicious and fluffy, with a not too overpowering chocolate taste. But I found the cacao sauce too rich, so stole some of my husbands coconut yogurt. When we went back a second time, I asked to swap out the cacao sauce for just coconut yoghurt, which they ended up charging me extra for which really annoyed me. It wasn't that busy that it would have been too difficult for the chef to swap out!
My husband enjoyed both the granola and the tomato dish. And the coffee was good too!
Decor is sweet and relaxed.
Staff were friendly enough, but we did notice, who we assumed to be the manager, very rudely reprimanding one of the servers in front of us. My husband and I were both shocked at how rudely she spoke to the server, but mostly that she did it front of customers. Pretty appalling behaviour that I felt couldn't go unnoticed. Hoping it was just a once off!
But overall, the food was delicious and coffee was good, so we would definitely go back again. Especially when there aren't too many other great vegan brekkie options to choose from in PD!
Pros: Yum vegan options., Relaxed vibe. , Good coffee.

Gorgeous in every way! - Edit
I had a gorgeous breakfast here! I had the cacao and buckwheat pancakes with banana and yummy chocolate sauce, it was delicious!! I then had a strawberry, banana and coconut water smoothie which was equally delicious! They have a fresh juice and smoothie of the day everyday! The place is lovely and the staff are so friendly (and the person I spoke to had recently went vegan!) There are a few vegan options on the menu and I couple of items that could be made vegan. They have a daily fresh juice and smoothie as well! Fantastic place to visit!

Cute cafe with a couple of vegan options for breakfast - Edit
A really pretty cafe with two vegan options for breakfast - muesli and the special, an acai smoothie bowl. The muesli was delicious!! We'd definitely come back for lunch if we found ourselves in Port Douglas again.
