Better batter matters is a wonderful local vegan bakery running out of a backyard studio in Newcastle NSW.

I bought the Caramel and the Oreo flavors, I finished one almost immediately.
I can't wait to see more recognition for a very deserving vegan producer.

Phenomenal Baked Goods! - Edit
It astounds me there are only two reviews here so far! Better Batter Matters is a few years old now, and continues to push out incredible cakes, cupcakes, muffins and even scrolls! These are all home-made, crafted with plenty of warmth and care - and it shows. The texture, flavour and even look are just mouth-watering - and your tastebuds will not be let down!

The owner is lovely and easy to contact through their website. Some cakes can be made gluten-free to suit. These are a little pricey, but given the quality and size of servings it is not mismatched. Every dollar spent will be deliciously enjoyed!

Stunning cake - Edit
I ordered an Oreo cake for a birthday. The decorations were so pretty. It was a little smaller than I'd hoped for thr price. But otherwise super happy with. Keen to try some different cake flavours in the future.

Local Newcastle baker who does the most wonderful baked goods. Can order her stock standard items from her website or she can do you something really unique (see Instagram). Everything I have ever ordered has been on time, delicious and presented beautifully. Highly recommend 🎂
