Evil tofu is divine - Edit
Best meal I have had in a bit. Everything was nicely cooked, sauce was delicious and the tofu just drank it up. Summer rolls were a nice accompaniment. Looked there were several other vegan options. Can’t wait to go back.

Curry not vegan - Edit
I tried to order the curry without fish/oyster as the post describes, but all of the curries already contain fish sauce. They said the tofu broccoli was safe though! It was really yummy!

We ate here last fall when visiting Bailey Island and loved the food. We were in Harpswell last week and were sure to go again.
Read moreA number of apps are vegan. The Brussels sprouts are really good, although better when eaten on site rather than as carry out. Spring rolls are tasty.
We like the Evil Tofu. Drunken noodles can be made vegan. Only issue with them is they need more noodles in the dish.
I was told that none of the curries are vegan and can’t be made vegan because they all contain fish sauce. I ordered the yellow curry because I was told it could be made vegan. The restaurant called back a few minutes later and told me it could not be vegan, which I appreciated. I changed the order to drunken noodles.

The food Best Thai Express is consistently some of the best Thai I’ve had in the area; one area where they really excel is their tofu. In my experience, their tofu is always perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Restaurant is very accommodating of vegan diets and staff are very well equipped to help make dishes vegan-friendly.
