SUPERB - Edit
This place is amazing. Incredible vibes, welcoming staff, very tourist friendly. I recommend the chicken style bowl and orange and mint tea. So good. Right near a great, more affordable laundromat (wash box) aswell if you need!

Tasty bowl which was huge! Also they served me a free tea on the house. Zebra cake was super moist and not dry at all. Price is cheap.

We loved eating here when visiting from Canada! Impressively quick, great favour variety, and generous portions. The decor inside was really beautiful, and service was kind.

Beautiful ambience, meh food - Edit
I REALLY wanted to love this place. The decor is gorgeous. The veg central Asian concept is enthralling. But we were surprised by the menu which is basically standard middle eastern (falafel, halloumi, etc). So I ordered the besh bowl to have a more “authentic” meal and it was super fermented. I don’t mind a little fermentation as a topping like kimchi, but I felt like I was eating a whole bowl of sauerkraut. I don’t recommend.

Definitely coming back! - Edit
Lovely little restaurant with a great compact menu and many vegan options. I got the kofta wrap which was fine but nothing special, but the cakes were amazing (both of my two friends agreed on that) and my friend who ordered the peanut bowl loved it too. Fair prices.

Takeaway - Edit
Vegetarian place with vegan options, ordered the halloumi and falafel bowls, these come with rice, salad, hummus, tziki and pitta. Really delicious meal, portion is very generous, we've got leftovers for later. Delivered to our hotel, eat in also available.

Really good kofta and nice staff - Edit
The food was really great and the staff were very nice. My food came with a free tea which was a nice surprise. Also, although it's a vegetarian restaurant rather than vegan, there's no eggs in anything on the menu.

Pros: Great food, Free tea for some reason , Nice staff

Tasty but not completely vegan - Edit
They offer some animal cruelty products too, but a lot of vegan options. Lovely decor with a lot of oriental themed tiles and you get a black tea with the food. Card payment was easy, we went around 12:45 and found open spaces without issue.

This place is relatively low cost compared to most other food places. Mainly falafel option's both veggie and vegan. More of a casual place

Einfaches Essen, aber lecker - Edit
Das Essen ist einfach, aber lecker. Das Restaurant eher schlicht. Man bestellt am Tresen und bekommt sein Essen dann serviert.

Full plate of tasty food - Edit
From the outside it looked like just another fastfood business, but it was totally different. You order your meals and drinks at the counter, pay, and then you take a seat in the back of the restaurant and wait until being served. The food was very tasty and a lot, but we finished it anyway. In the back, it was nicely decorated.

Delicious - Edit
Very nice little restaurant with different offers. Was very tasty, a clear recommendation if you are in the area! Attention: The yoghurt is not vegan, so just let them know that you want it without. The place is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly.

Delicious, healthy, and fast - Edit
The title says it all. Like a similar poster, I went there three days in a row because I don't think anything could surpass Besh for value. The only negative could be that they give too much food for each order (even small) - I didn't finish all of it once.

The best brownie in Berlin - Edit
Yes, the place is gorgeous, the food is cheap yet excellent and staff was very sweet and knowlegable about veganism, but I think I've found the best vegan brownie in whole Berlin, so rich and nutty and chocolate-y that I will probably think about it for a very long time (had peanut butter in it). The pistachio namura was excellent, too.

Bowls and Sandwiches underneath Colorfully Carpeted Ceiling - Edit
BESH is a pretty small, casual restaurant close to Jannowitzbrücke.
Read moreI went here for lunch with a colleague. The vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu. I had the BESH bowl and one falafel piece. The service was extremely good. The staff was smiling the entire time and I got free tea as well as an extra piece of falafel. My bowl was good but nothing extraordinary.
What makes this place stand out is the decoration. There are beautiful ceramic tiles on the tables and some walls, there's a massive wall-painting depicting a middle-eastern landscape with some traders right by the entrance, and the ceiling is completely covered in colorful carpets.
All-in-all it was a nice lunch at a nice place and I'd be happy to go back some day.
