Lots of healthy vegan juices & smoothies - Edit
This is a great place to get healthy vegan fruit & vegetable “blends” whether they be juices, smoothies, or bowls.
Read moreThe downside is that due to no vegan labeling, you have to review the ingredients for each of the 73 choices displayed on the menu board in order to find which ones are vegan.
The upside is that 45 menu items (62%) are vegan or can be made vegan by omitting something simple like honey. Some menu items have a symbol by it that says, “Ask for All Fruit” which allows you to easily veganize.
The rest of the menu items have main ingredients that are not vegan, and (in my opinion) omitting or substituting them would alter the overall taste too much, in which case the “Pick-It-Yourself” drink (you choose the ingredients) might be a better choice.
EXTREME VEGGIE REVIEW
The “Extreme Veggie” was very good. Each ingredient was freshly juiced/squeezed and served ice-cold. It went so quick that I nearly got a brain freeze. I think they add ice to the ingredients and then blend everything together, because after finishing the liquid part of the drink, 25% of the 16-ounce cup was “slush” that tasted like a watered-down version of the original. This is more of an observation than a critique.
