Tofu Katsu!!

The vegan tofu katsu at Bermondsey Cafe is so good. I had the wrap and my husband had the bowl. The portions are huge. A few days later we went with friends and they made a special vegan ramen. It spicy and delicious and one of the biggest ramen bowls I’ve ever had.

Pros: Multiple vegan options

Absolutely worth the visit

Open until midnight! And serves the biggest bowl of Tofu Katsu with cabbage/pickles/jalpenõs/ salsa. It’s delicious! In a cool British style pub… takes a little long to get the food, but well worth the wait.

Pros: Open Late, Large portions , Fantastic Food

Cons: It’s not 100% vegan

Bermondsey’s falafel and vegan curry are delicious. The servings are huge, unlike most places in Japan! The owners are extremely friendly and the restaurant has a unique atmosphere.

A giant bowl of deliciousness!

We walked in and asked what the vegan options were for the day (staff speak English). That day it was falafel and tacos. How many places do you know that can make a special dish for you?? The food was worth the wait! I received a huge bowl with fries, falafel, hummus, bell peppers, and lettuce. If you’re like me and traveling from abroad and want something familiar, stop on by😄They’ve nailed everything about falafel. Wish I could give them 5 stars!

Favorite restaurant in Nagoya

We walk in, say “vegan” and they make us something delicious. Do yourself a favor and just come here. The falafel plate (bowl? bathtub?) is insane. Fries, falafel, tons of veggies. Just come here.

Friendly British Style Pub

I have been here 4 times so far - the first time they didn't have anything vegetarian ready, but made some Nasi Goreng without meat or eggs for me.

The other three times, they had falafel (either a pita sandwich or a platter). Vegan pizza was listed on the menu once, but I haven't tried it.

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the falafel meals are huge and delicious.

Pros: Friendly atmosphere, Falafel, Large Servings, reasonably priced

Cons: Limited choice for vegetarians, Sometimes pretty busy with only one or two cooks

Amazing falafel

Awesome British pub that offers vegan falafel. Let the owner know you are vegan and he will use vegan mayo. The portion is enormous, a mountain of food involving chips, salad, and salsa. One order is more than enough for two people to split.

Pros: gigantic portion, reasonable price

Cons: small space, can get busy on weekends
