Vegan/Vegetarian options & fun atmosphere - Edit
I loved the schnitzel - it was crispy and nice and thin. We had them with boiled potatoes instead of potato salad. It is a little pricey but a nice splurge.
Read moreThey also have a vegan meatloaf, a boiled potato dish and a curry wurst.
Pros: Food was good , Service was amazing , Atmosphere was great

Vegan Options of German Food - Edit
Omni pub with vegan options. So happy I finally got to try a Vegan Currywurst, a German staple! Chubby, juicy, and tender 'sausage' that didn't have a strong mock meat aftertaste and left me pleasantly surprised. Served with tomato-based curry sauce and French fries. The non-vegans sitting at the table near me were amused and impressed when my dish was served hahaha. The Vegan Meatloaf went well with the caramelised onions and sweet mustard dip, and was also served with chunky potato salad, pickled caperberries, and spicy beetroot horseradish. Flavour-packed and fancier than I expected. Overall impressed with the great vegan options and friendly service! Located near Friedrichstraße Station, overlooking River Spree.

Tasty but expensive - Edit
We wanted to have vegan German food so decided to stop this touristic restaurant. The location is absolutely beautiful and sitting outside was nice! Service was fast and very friendly. Food was average. It was tasty but something you can easily make at home. So nothing special. As expected the prices were expensive.

Few vegan choices, high prices - Edit
The vegan schnitzel with potato salad was quite good. I'd recommens it for sure. However, especially compared to the Schnitzelei with their "flexitarian manifesto" as they call it, the Berliner Republik could do better. There wasn't even a vegan dessert and as the title already says, there are only few vegan options on the menu and they're all quite pricey.

Good German pub food - Edit
A few vegan options, clearly marked, and a couple of vegetarian ones. Could have more options. I had the vegan curry wurst, others had lentil roulade and green salad. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Good beer too.

Been very nice - Edit
We were looking for something to eat at a late hour and it was also pretty close to our hotel. The menu had only one choice for vegans, saiten chicken schnitzel, served with potato salad and regular salad. The dish arrived very quickly, the schnitzel was the tastiest out of the dish (add some lemon) and the waiter was very nice.

Great German food - Edit
When entering the restaurant, we were a bit put off at first by the large TV screen that was playing a football match. Luckily the match ended soon after we arrived and the accompanying loud football fans went home again.
Read moreWe tried the vegan schnitzel (Beyond Meat) and the lentil roulade (which was also gluten-free). Both were delicious. Our waiter was extremely good and friendly. What was also nice was that the place seemed to be filled with locals rather than tourists.
Overall a great place to visit, especially when you're in the company of non-vegans that want to eat some traditional German food.
Pros: Great food, Friendly staff
Cons: Noisy during football match

Vega(n) German dishes on the menu - Edit
We were supprised to see German vegan dishes on the menu. We tried the currywurst and the lentils roullade. The currywurst was good, the lentils were a little bit tasteless. They also have vegan Schnitzel but we did not try it
