7,50€ für eine halbe Kelle Karottensuppe und eine halbe Scheibe Brot. Geschmacklich gut aber nicht zu empfehlen, da spätestens in Gohrisch viele vegane Möglichkeiten vorhanden sind

Vegan-friendly regular mountain restaurant - Edit
I appreciate that they offer vegan options in an area where this is not only an exception, but where sometimes people actively fight vegan offers. We had a veganized salad and the vegan lentil soup, juice and a vegan hot chocolate. Nothing special though and the dishes actually were just „versions without“ (animal products). Staff was quick and friendly.

Schöne vegetarische Berggaststätte mit mehreren veganen Optionen. Ich hatte einen veganen Schoko-Kirschkuchen und einen Cappucchino. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiterinnen.

Food was a let down - Edit
Although the staff were friendly, sadly the food was quite pricey and did not taste good. It’s mainly because it’s so overloaded with salt and garlic - it’s all we could taste! Like literally 2 hours later and all I can smell/taste is garlic. There was a good choice of vegetarian options - mainly stews and pasta, some of which could be veganised. Also just to be clear you have to climb the Pfaffenstein to get to the restaurant. That’s 434.6m to the restaurant!

Hier in der Gegend veganes Essen zu bekommen ist nicht leicht.
Read moreUm so begeisterter waren wir hier oben nicht in den üblichen Bratwurst/Pommes Dunst gehüllt zu werden.
Kein Fleisch auf der Karte, alles vegetarisch, z.T. Mit veganen Optionen. Alle heißen und kalten Schokoladen sowie Kaffeevariationen auch mit Soja/Mandelmilch... allerdings sind die verwendeten Schokoladen nicht vegan.
Und lecker war’s obendrein.
Die Preise sind allerdings Berghüttenpreise.
Die Portionsgrößen sind OK.
