The golden goose of vegan diners. - Edit
A dozen or so delicious vegan sandwiches. Punk and post-rock local band posters. Everything is vegan. A bakery case of vegan treats. A friendly cashier/barista. A yooge beautiful cookie dough-filled cake on the counter. Tip jar. Comments/suggestion box. I eat here every chance I can come up with.

My husband and I had a great experience after stopping on our way to Lake George. He got the Ruben and I got the Cuban both served with chips and a pickle. Highly recommend both!! The desserts were also a nice treat.

Love this place! It’s about an hour drive from me and it’s worth the commute! I’ve tried the chicken sandwich and the “Big Mac” both were delicious! I wish there could be more variety on the menu, tacos and such. They do specials and have wings on certain days. Place is small yet inviting and the staff is friendly!

Best Philly cheesesteak sandwich we’ve ever tried. Absolutely delicious and stuffed full of “beef”. It was so good that we went back and got 2 more for the road! The BBQ jackfruit was okay. Staff was super friendly! Cute little place. I’d recommend it to everyone. It lives up to the hype! The reviews say the Reuben is great too, but the Philly was so good that I didn’t want to try anything else after that!

Holy crap, this is the best seitan I’ve raver tasted. The pastrami in my Reuben was incredible. Traveled nearly 3 hours for this, and I can say it was worth it. The garlic Parmesan wings were really good too, although not your usual vegan wings. They are flat, half circle shapes and also made of seitan. I tried an assortment of desserts, and they were ok - but not great. Hubby tried the special, a bbq burger and it was so delicious. These people know seitan. Get the Reuben. Get two. You won’t be disappointed!

Reuben, Po'Boy, Garlic Parm Wings (Wednesdays) - YES. Cheese steak was fine but could use some more peppers & onions and overall flavor improvement. Skip the potato chips and get the side salad (words I thought I'd never mutter). Every dessert I have tried has been overly sweet, yet I can't seem to pass them up every time I go. Always a favorite of mine when in the area.

This is my FAVORITE place to eat! Amazing, delicious vegan comfort food that will appease even the staunchest omnivore. There is plenty of seating available and the decor is hip and appealing. The staff is extremely friendly and kind and they make you feel at home. I can't recommend this place enough.

Cool place to grab a vegan sandwich in Albany. Based on staff recommendation, I opted for the veggie Reuben. It was hearty, savory, and filling. They make their own seitan pastrami in house, which is really cool. It was spiced well and had good flavor, and it worked well with the rye bread. My only complaint was that the meal as a whole was a bit oily, but overall still very good. I’d highly recommend this place, and I look forward to trying some of their other offerings.

We have had the Seitan Philly Cheesesteak, BBQutiener, Jackfruit Pulled Pork Sandwich, BigMac Burger, Sunflower Burger, Buffalo Wing Sandwich and the BBQ Wing Sandwich, the Mushroom Po Boy, and we tried a few cupcakes and the apple pie bars and smores bars... Everything is always great!
Very reasonable priced. The staff is always friendly. It's such a great atmosphere. We even brought our non vegan friends and family here and they LOVED it. We recommend this place to everyone.
They even have wing Wednesday - we haven't tried this yet, but have been dying to!

There were two vegetarian options in downtown Albany and we chose this one based on proximity and reviews. So glad we did! Ordered the BBQ jackfruit sandwich for my carnivorous husband and the sunflower burger on greens for myself. Both meals were exceptional and we had the food within 10 minutes! Healthy, delicious and quick- we can’t wait to go back.

We found this place on this app and it was amazing. The place was a little confusing because it is built in a kinda apartment like area. The food was great. We got the jackfruit pulled sandwich and saitan sandwich. The jackfruit was a little sweet and almost tasted just like the real thing just without the fatty pork taste. The saitan sandwich was perfectly salty and a toasted taste to it. We are perfectly full and satisfied!!! Definitely a go to when we drive upstate New York again.
