No vegan menu - Edit
They no longer have a vegan menu. They can make the fried rice vegan but you will leave hungry. I modified a salad, it was decent but nothing special. Go to Chipotle or Olive Harden and get filled up. This place is overpriced for the limited modified vegan item.

Must try in Texarkana - Edit
Get the eggplant dish- it’s the best item on the vegan menu. I also appreciate that any salad can be made vegan and they don’t charge you as much. Wish other restaurants did that!!

Expected better - Edit
We got the sweet potato tacos, pineapple fried rice, and banana split. The tacos were the best tasting but honestly didn’t have much flavor. They were filling though. The pineapple on the fried rice tasted gross honestly. The rice itself was pretty good but personally I’ve had way better vegan fried rice. It was kind of soupy with sauce. The banana split was good but the ice cream was partially melted. My expectations were a lot higher.

Local, separate vegan menu - Edit
Shocked to find any local place with a vegan menu in Texarkana- big win! We were passing through town and able to call ahead for pick up which made it super easy. The restaurant is right off of I-30, very convenient and the food was ready in 30 minutes. We tried the fried mushrooms from the vegan appetizer menu and they were really good, especially with the vegan ranch! My wife tried the pineapple fried rice and that was delicious as well. I tried the sweet potato tacos but they were lacking in flavor for me. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the side items either. The Mexican street corn and black beans were a miss and the avocado cilantro sauce was meh. Still so glad we had an option and I hope to one day try the jackfruit barbacoa but it was $21 for the entree so hopefully it’s shareable.

An uncommon upscale dining experience - Edit
So first of all- whoever marked this place as 2 dollar signs needs to change it. It's definitely a 3! The cheapest menu item I can recall was $16.
Read moreDue to circumstances beyond our control we found ourselves stuck in the not-so-lovely town of Texarkana (no offense, locals). The entire town is basically strip malls filled with meat-centric chain restaurants so imagine our shock when we found this fancy restaurant with a completely separate vegan menu! Everything from appetizers, salads, entrees, to deserts has multiple 100% LEGIT vegan options. By that I mean they're actual complete meals with all the fixin's, 100% vegan by default with no modifications needed.
And boy was the food delicious! We racked up quite a bill, but we were both very satisfied with our meals. I can't say I've ever had a dining experience quite like this, given that most vegan-friendly places tend to be more on the casual side. They had a pretty extensive cocktail menu also which I enjoyed.
Our servers were all extremely friendly and attentive. I was a little dismayed that none of the staff were wearing masks, but well, this is Texarkana after all and it seems like pretty much no one was wearing them here. The restaurant was pretty upscale and we may have even been a little underdressed but they still treated us like VIPs.
Overall, if you're willing to shell out some $$$ this place is an absolute gem for vegans and would be great for a nice date. (Or if you're stuck with a party of omnis, try to convince them to pick this place and everyone will surely be happy.) What a lovely surprise to find here in one of the least vegan-friendly parts of the US!
Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Excellent food, Excellent service
Cons: Expensive, Staff not wearing masks

What a treat! - Edit
Went here twice on a road trip cross country and was delighted by the all vegan menu. The cocktails were expertly crafted and dessert looked incredible, but I didn’t leave room.
Read moreI had the sweet potato tacos and Asian salad. Husband had the southwestern press sandwich. Everything was great!
Looking forward to trying the chocolate mousse next time. This was a really nice treat and a much needed break from road food.

Off the charts - Edit
I travel the US and Canada with my job. Be coming vegan has been a challenge and I’ve found that I often settle for a chain restaurant and order a salad and baked potato. I was pleasantly surprised when I goggled vegan restaurants near me and Benchmark came up with a vegan menu. In Texarkana, Tx!! Everything about this place is top notch! The service, cleanliness, and quality of food. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about the vegan menu and the owner came out and inquired about how I found the place and being vegan. Which shows a ton about how much he cares about making this the best restaurant in town for everyone. One of the best vegan restaurants and regular restaurants i’ve been to in this incredible country we live in! When i’m back in Texarkana I’ll definitely be back! Great job!
