Tasty Nut Roast in a lovely pub - Edit
Went for Sunday roast with my boyfriend. I had the nut roast he had the lamb shank. We shared a vegan brownie for dessert. Friendly staff, had to get a uber here as it was slightly out of town but lovely meal. Great looking pub inside and out. Cool fox paint on the side. Friendly staff as well 😊

Vegan pub grub! - Edit
Really missing a place to get pub grub after Laverys removed a lot of their vegan menu items and thankfully I came across Ben Madigans.
Read moreWe were able to go along with family who aren't vegan and everybody was happy with their food. There was about 1hr wait however which wasn't great. I'm guessing due to pay day in January and the fact there was a birthday party in too.
We were given a free round of drinks for our long wait, some of the items weren't the warmest but honestly the taste was there and the Patricia was fantastic.
Pros: Great vegan options - i found it hard to choose, Friendly staff, Nice decor / atmosphere and live music

Great food, nice traditional style bar/restaurant, only downside was we went quite late in the evening so it was a bit busy with people just out for a drink, felt it took away from the atmosphere a bit, I would return though

Decent option in North Belfast - Edit
Their food is pretty good and the place is lovely. The staff is very friendly, however when we went there it was a busy night and our order took longer than an hour. Maybe it was a time off? We'll be back again and in that case I'd be happy to move the rating to a 4 star
