Bangor Based Vegan Bakes! - Edit
I have visited Bel's Vegan Bakes countless times since my first review, so I felt it was time for an update. Initially set up as a home bakery, Bel's Vegan Bakes now also operates as a market stall in events based in and around the Bangor area.
Read moreBel's Vegan Bakes does customer orders, and the range on offer at her stall ensures there is something there for anyone. There is a mix of around 8 cupcake flavours available along with brownies, cakes, muffins, cookies, scrap boxes, and biscoff/snickers slices. There are also some items that don't appear in every market, such as bara brith, dubai cupcakes and cookies, cinnamon rolls, refined sugar-free brownies, and homemade dog treats. There are also savoury snacks of sausage rolls and cheese, tomato & bacon turnovers on offer too!
The owner serves at her stall and is also the baker. She is incredibly friendly and posts openly about veganism and animal rights on the businesses social media. Everything I have had from here has been unbelievably tasty, and I've narrowed my favourites down to Bara Brith, Victoria Sponge Slice, Black Forest Slice, Fudgy Brownie, Oreo Cupcake, and Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffin!
Bel's Vegan Bakes regularly frequent Bangor and Caernarfon local markets and various local food fairs. If you plan to visit this stall, and I recommend that you do, I suggest you keep an eye out on their social media for dates. If you can't attend the market but still want to support a local vegan business, then perhaps putting an online order would be a better option for you.

I purchased a bacon, cheese & tomato turnover which is made with puff pastry. It was so lovely I could have eaten two!
Read moreI also bought 3 cakes, the choc honeycomb cupcake, a slice of black forest gateaux & a white chocolate and raspberry muffin. They were all delicious. I would definitely recommend Bel's Bakes
