Very cute, a must do in broken hill - Edit
So many flavour options and offers dairy free milk and ice cream. Staff we good and the atmosphere is amazing. The decor is so cute and retro.

Groovy 50s style milk bar - Edit
Bells has plant based milk & icecream. Many of the flavouring syrups are vegan (just not the 4 choices I wanted 😢) We had Milkshakes - Me the Strawberry Cheesecake (ho hum) and my partner had the Rumball (it was ok) Felt the milkshakes could have been richer - noticed the soy used was cheap Woolies brand (bit of a cheek for $1.50 more) More ice-cream was needed.

Had 2 x shakes, both made with soy ice cream and soy milk, tasty but very sweet. Chips are good and they also have plant based macaroons and Anzac cookies.

Something I was not expecting in Broken Hill was the tourist attraction 70s style milk bar/diner to have added vegan options. They have plant based milks and soy icecream for $1 extra so you can veganise your milkshake. There are so many syrup flavours to choose from. They also have red and black liquorish which is gelatine free. I loved the atmosphere and the friendly service. Bring your own straw if you want to avoid plastic
