Serves two menu options on a daily basis for lunch - one of them is vegetarian (and can be made vegan). Also offers other dishes a la carte, some of them suitable for vegans. Serves some local dishes and only uses fresh ingredients (no processed products). Opened since December 2015. Doesn't accept credit cards. Open Mon 11:00am-7:00pm, Wed-Sun 11:00am-7:00pm. Closed Tue.

Great atmosphere and good food - Edit
I walked in and asked for vegan food and the cook offered to make me seitan with potatoes and a quinoa salad. It came with sauce and bruscetta and was very yummy! The vow is nice and they play nice old Argentinan music.

Very good food and super veg-friendly - Edit
Considering there's no vegetarian restaurant in Tilcara, Bella Flor is a very good option for vegetarians and vegans visiting the beautiful town of Tilcara. Not only because of this, actually, but also because the food is really delicious and very well made.
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had lunch there on March 31st, 2016 after visiting the Pucará, one of the main sights of the town, which is very close to the restaurant. They were offering two dishes as menú del día that day, and one of them was vegetarian, a veggie lentil burger with potatos and salad. Delicious! The price was moderate, but still fair, around 130 pesos ($ 9), especially considering it also included a dessert. We also ordered a big jar of juice for around 80 pesos ($ 5.5). It was a very good lunch and we felt very satisfied in the end.
The restaurant's vibe is very nice, with some beautiful paintings on the wall and very nice music. The staff is super friendly, answering all the questions I asked in order to add the listing here on HappyCow. Just a pity it's not a vegetarian restaurant - maybe in the future.
