How have I slept on this place for so long?? I’m sorry BEK 🙏 amazing range of (enormous) pastries but you need to get there early because by 11am on Saturday most stuff was gone. Also my excitement upon discovering my croissant was stuffed with cookie dough was unmatched.

A pretty wide range of amazing pastries for a small shop.

I got 5 items, of which the iced bun was my favourite, the cream inside was amazingly fluffy and sweet.
Everything is a generous size for the price and in general.
The pastry is crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The fillings aren’t as full as I imagined but still delicious.
Friendly staff and clean shop.
No parking around.
Savoury choices next time!
Can’t wait for the Gosport branch to open up so I don’t have to drive to the Southampton unit!

Huge croissants! - Edit
The croissants are some of the biggest I've ever seen! We got the pistachio and the raspberry one. I preferred the raspberry one because of the creamy custard. The pistachio one didn't have as much filling.
Read moreOverall though, I felt they were slightly dry. I prefer croissants to be a little more buttery and softer. While these had the crunch, they lacked the moisture.
The spongy texture of the jalapeño and cheese focaccia was pretty good.

Very worth it to go there! They had mostly sweet pastries and a vegan sausage roll and focaccia as well. The cappuccino was also good.

Tiny shop, huge pastries - Edit
Visited St Denys specifically to visit this bakery. Was surprised that you can't even enter the shop, the counter is right at the door so only room for one customer at a time and others have to wait on the street. A huge amount of choice with both breads and delicious pastries. It was all delectable too. Would love to visit more often as it really has a great range of really tasty treats in generous portions but the train to St Denys is only one an hour so this is not a very convenient location. We had to get the bus into central Southampton and take a train home from there.

The pastries are probably the best I've ever tasted, vegan or otherwise. Jalapeno bread absolutely delicious. I don't live very close to the business premises, but fortunately they supply a food store closed to me, so I can enjoy their lovely baking regularly.

Lush vegan bread and pastries now in St Denys - Edit
Wonderful little family run bakery with a wide variety of freshly baked breads/sourdough, and sweet pastries such as cinnamon buns, various flavoured croissants (almond, biscoff etc.), danish pastries and more. Get there early to have the most choice. Highly recommend the focaccia and maple & pecan bun.

Incredible pastries!! - Edit
I was SO happy when I discovered this bakery. They do the most incredible pastries! They were delivered to my house before an event and even my omnivorous friends couldn't get enough of them. The bread was absolutely delicious as well😄can't wait to get some more!!
