Very dry falafel and bad service

We had the Hummus Beiruti and Babaganoush, both were ok. Eggplant in tahin sauce was the best, but the tahin too predominant. But the Libanese flatbread was dry. And the falafel was probably the driest falafel I’ve ever had. Huge disappointment. The service was bad. A lot of drinks were sold out. We wanted to order another round, but no one was helping us. We paid and left.

Good place

Good place with friendly staff and a lot of vegan options. I really liked the falafel but I was a little bit disappointed on the hummus. Definitely not the best Libanese restaurant I’ve been too, but the food is still good and the price is pretty fair

Best lekker maar wel prijzig

Vegan menu met verschillende gerechten voor 2 personen (€59)

Pros: Lekker

Cons: Brood en falafel werden koud geserveerd , Wel duur

Nice place but …

… rather low on the price/quality scale. Not a bad dining experience at all but I’ve eaten better Middle Eastern food for a better price.

Great food, good concept, nice terrace

Although a little pricey, the food is good and the service is great. Never had a bad experience here. Terrace is also quite nice.

Good but not great

We ordered the vegan menu, but one of the platters had goat cheese. When I pointed this out, the waitress seemed confused about what the issue was, and I had to explain that vegan means no cheese. I asked if any dishes in this menu had honey and she said no, but the dessert has honey.
Also more expensive than our preferred restaurant Fattoush

Pros: Vegan menu, Bit fancier

Cons: Expensive, Staff wrong about what is vegan

Good but rather expensive for what you get

The taste was good but the portions are small and the ordering with the app, even when you are sitting in the restaurant, is complicated. Not all of us got the meal at the same time.

Pros: Vegan options labeled, Water for free

Cons: Expensive, You have to order with an app

Cold

We were sitting outside, the terrace was cute and cosy. We had the vegan menu for 2. Most of it was cold mezze. They brought the hot mezze later but these were also almost cold. They were tasty though. Also the staff was really friendly.

Expensive mezzes

They have their vegan options listed in the menu, most of them are mezze: hummus, baba ganoush and so on. The food is good, but for me way overpriced (77 euro for 2 persons). Also, the dessert that they offer in the vegan options is baklava with honey, which is actually not vegan. The place is OK, is very elegant, but quite pricy for being so not much vegan friendly...

Not worth it

We came here with two omni friends who wanted to try out this lebanese cuisine. As there were no tables left, we decided to order take-away. On their own website, it doesn't mention which items are vegan, but through takeaway.com we discovered that they had a vegan menu "for two or more", which costs €50, and then my omni friends ordered some mixed dishes and wraps for themselves. When we got home, we noticed that they forgot several items, like a mixed falafel, the hummus 'Beiruti', rice and mana'eesh zaatar. Also, the portions of the other items were extremely small. The falafel was completely dried out and it was even labeled saying that you would still have to warm it up in the oven, which would obviously dry it out even further. This menu "for two or more" is just enough for one person, and definitely not worth €50. My omni friend even wasn't feeling well afterwards, so next time, we will obviously order somewhere else.

Cons: Several items missing, Small portions, Expensive

Expensive and not really good

My wife and I have just ordered some takeaway food from that place. The hummus (house recipe) was a bit weird, not salty at all. Ordered two wraps as well: falafel and chicken. In both wraps there was hardly any food (the first time I have ever had something like this since I began eating wraps). The falafel wrap was ok but like I said, there was really hardly no food in it, so when you see the price (9€), it really seems to be a joke. Chicken wrap was apparently not good.
Positive thing: vine leaves were tasty.
The restaurant itself is all nice and new. When I went out of the restaurant with my food I thought it’d be nice to go back there with my wife to have dinner. Now that we know how the food tastes, there’s no way we’re going any time soon..
