LOVE this place!

To be clear, the vegan options at Beijing Noodle are limited. But, what's on offer is delicious. We generally order the Oil Spill Noodles and the Wuhan Noodles....then we keep swapping the bowls back & forth. We've also ordered the Sichuan Noodles which were good, but we preferred our 'usual' choices instead. If you like spicy food, be sure to ask for the chili oil--like everything else, it's made in house.

Be aware that this restaurant is small and the furnishings are somewhat basic. They get VERY busy on weekends with LOTS of take-out orders. The food has always been excellent, but there can be a long wait during busy times. Now, we go during 'off' times like Saturday afternoon or evenings at 5.

Pros: Oil Spill Noodles & Wuhan Noodles, Small, local restaurant, Hot chili oil

Cons: Can get VERY busy evenings and weekends, Limited vegan options, Not open Sundays

Being Generous with the Stars Here

I was SO excited to try this after reading the reviews, but I’m thoroughly disappointed. My partner stopped by after work to order everything fresh and drove the 5 minutes home. I dug right in! The oil spill noodles were already a congealed and cold pile with uncooked broccoli and a pile of cilantro on top. The “sichuan” on the oil spill noodles seems to be a little dry chili powder sprinkled on one spot on top of the dish instead of fresh peppercorns or sauce and barely cooked garlic at the bottom of the same takeout container. The Wuhan noodles were dry, gritty, and lacked flavor … other than tahini and peanut. The chili oil my partner requested was nonexistent. I won’t be going there again, but I suggest you eat there instead of getting takeout or delivery if you do.

Options!

I’ve lived in China for several years and this place was so legit - truly transported me back! Very authentic food. It’s really a fun experience.

Lunch in China!!

Highly Chinese crowd, always a good sign!! Yummy noodles. I had the Wuhan noodles, delish!! Hubby had oil slick, a little oily (dah) and intense flavor almost too much. Would go back!

Pros: Homemade noodles, Authentic

Cons: Limited menu, Parking(driving an RV, street parking)

Why'd I wait so long?

The flavor combinations of this dish were amaze balls! They make their noodles in-house daily and the freshness is evident in each bite. I WILL be back soon.

Pros: Fresh made noods , Amazing flavor profiles , Friendly owners

Cons: Animal product descriptions(of other menu items) a

Good noods

Not a ton of vegan options, but what they have is very good. Got the Wuhan (peanut + sesame) noodles, and my partner got the Oil Spill (garlicky, szechuan-y) noodles. Wish there was an option to add tofu or some kinda veg protein. Ask for chili oil at the table, I think I could eat that stuff straight out of the jar with a spoon, and the Wuhan def needed it to loosen up the peanut-y sauce (which was def made from actual peanuts, not peanut butter! So actually peanutty!).

Pros: Chili oil, Chili oil, Chili oil

Cons: No vegan protein options
