Read moreSadly the tofu and mushrooms main I ordered was really tasteless for a Chinese restaurant - we had to add soy sauce. The dumplings were okay, but it’s hard to go wrong with dumplings! Also we originally asked to get the soup dumplings and were offered them in plain water as a substitute when the soup wasn’t vegan - which was quite a strange suggestion!
Not bad, but disappointing considering Chinatown has some amazing offerings!

we had a great time there. it was a little crowded but considering the taste of the food it’s absolutely understandable. i had some dumplings in soup and the salt and pepper tofu. the tofu blew my mind. it was so tasty which i didn’t even expect. i can really recommend trying it. would give 5 stars if it were possible

From the menu, they have quite a bit of vegan items (clearly labeled). I only tried the vegetable dumplings as take-away. They were good, but nothing special.

Unassuming but amazing - Edit
I love Beijing dumpling and it’s one of my favorite spots. The salt and pepper tofu looks really plain to the eye but is amazing and so flavorful! They even asked me if I’m okay with shrimp products so nothing was cooked together, so kind!
