Awesome separate plant based menu - Edit
I have been a bunch of times and everything is great. I had been avoiding the burger because it’s usually the only option so I have always tried something different, but I finally got one of them last night and was one of the best I’ve ever had. Love this spot (Oakville too)

Today I arranged a lunch date with my husband. I was delighted to learn that Beertown has a fully separate vegan/plant-based menu. I had the “fish“ tacos, and truffle fries and for dessert I had a delicious brownie. We live fairly close, and I can see that this is going to be a regular dining location for us now.

Great Vegan Food with the Best Cosmos Ever! - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant. I just love the look of Beertown. It has a beer brewing station on display, called the Beer Show. They have one of those old-style photo booths that you can get your picture in. The dining area has a mix of different style chairs and tables. There are also booths. It’s quite in the day time. When its busy on the weekend at night time its much louder because so many people are talking. The music is good and played at good level (not too loud). They have a separate vegan and gluten-free menu with many items to choose from.... burgers, vegan chicken dishes, rice bowls, wraps, Pad Thai and more! They have also added vegan breakfast items to their menu.

It comes with smoked chili-rubbed meatless chick’n (I order the sesame tofu as a substitute since almost all faux meats contain gluten which I can’t have), dirty black bean rice, tomato, pickled onions, corn chips, cilantro, grilled avocado cider vinaigrette. I ask to have chipotle mayo instead of the cider vinaigrette and extra cilantro. One thing that blows me away is that I love their grilled avocado. I normally hate avocado. Their washrooms are so cool looking. The staff is always super friendly. Cheerful & fun atmosphere.
The 2 people who came together based on posting their reviews on the same day and who had the same complained about the food being cooked in the same oil as meat items should just call ahead and ask the restaurant first. Having vegan food cooked in the same oil is not a deal-breaker for most vegans that go to vegan option restaurants. I get irritated when I’m out with non-vegans at a restaurant and I have to settle for only having one or two items that are vegan and gluten-free to choose from. Let's not take away the progress of having so many wonderful dishes made available to us at Beertown.
I would have given Beertown a 5-star review but Happycow does not allow that because this restaurant is not 100 percent vegan.

I have visited 3 times with both vegan and non-vegan diners at the table. Had the Asian bowl 2 of those times and it was delicious! Lots of fresh vegetables and brown rice and sesame tofu. Our servers have all been very friendly. Coming from a small town you have to work to put together something from the choices offered in our restaurants that is acceptable so I really love that they have a separate vegan menu.

Wouldn’t go there for the food but if someone is a beer connoisseur or needed to go to place to appease different eating styles, this may be the place to be.

As the title says, the food tasted good and the service was great. Servers were friendly and happy to help. The other reviewers are just pissy that they fry in the same oil. This does not mean they aren’t vegan. Many vegans do not care. Being that snooty and rude towards waiters is not how we make progress.😄 And clearly the two reviewers were friends because it was done on the exact same day.

Almost every option on the vegan menu is not actually vegan. They offer a vegan chicken option in almost all the dishes which is fried in the same oils as their animal products. Menu is "plant based" at best but still misleading and I don't believe they even understand what being vegan means. Clearly trying to jump on the "plant based" band wagon but don't understand the lifestyle or dietary restrictions. It's irresponsible. Huge disappointment.

We tried the vegan standard burger and it was delish, I only wish it wasn’t on a gluten free bun as it did become soggy with all the sauce eventually. We also tried the vegan chicken less tacos and they were amazing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff; this would be an excellent place if you are going out to eat with those who are not vegan. They even have a gluten free menu, so a lot of dietary restrictions are covered. We will be back with our omni family.
