Exquisito

Solo había una opción vegana y tres vegetarianas. Pero todo estaba buenísimo.Le Quito una estrella por la falta de opciones veganas, no por la comida ,que era increíble

Pros: La comida era fantastica, La terraza con vistas , El personal encantadir y muy atento

Delicious vegetarian pastas

There is only one vegan option currently and it is a starter, but the vegetarian fennel risotto was very tasty, as was the garlic bread. Everything was clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian. A great place to get Michelin-quality food, if a bit limited in options!

Pros: Excellent quality of food, Creative dishes

Cons: Not enough vegan options

OK

Just one vegan dish atm. The waiter unfortunately didn’t know the difference between vegan and vegetarian food and was offering me vegetarian options.

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Quite small portion

A gem

This is a gem in Varazdin. I found three vegan options on the menu except salads. The courgettes stuffed with rice were well executed. If you have the time and money definitely try them.

The risotto was tasty, too, and really filling. The chefs know what they are doing and they don't use much oil. Also not much salt. After six weeks of eating out I had to apply salt myself. Better this way than the other.

The soy medallions didn't convince me. I only tasted a hint of mushrooms. The texture was too soft for my taste. I just don't understand what it is meant to be. Since I was very hungry I still liked it together with the risotto and after applying salt and pepper.

The waiter also deserves to be mentioned. He seemed professional even though it couldn't observe him when the restaurant is full. He gave me just the right amount of attention.

Pros: Tasty food. Nice restaurant also with outdoor seat

Just amazing.

We had a wonderful lunch this summer at Bedem. Lovely ambient (beautiful views on Stari grad) + extremly polite and proffessional staff. They have 4 options in their menu (that are marked vegan) + sides, also fewer vegetarian ones as well. If you’re in Varazdin, this is a BIG must! Risotto and soy medallions were amazing. You will not regret this one :)
