Beco da Fruta

This lovely little place near the bus terminal is located just at the opposite direction of another great place called Istanbul. It only opened half a year ago (as of Feb 2017). The all-female staff & owner are very affable. They serve prato do dia (dish of the day), café-da-manha (breakfast), salads, wraps, juices, desserts. I had a vegan feijoada yesterday, which tasted absolutely great. I will go there again today & I can already absolutely recommend this "blind alley of fruits"!

I ate there three times during my stay in Paraty and I got amazed by the quality of the food every time! Very beautiful space and the staff is so nice! The owner made a special gluten free dish for me when the plate of the day where not glutenfree! The dishes has that little extra! Decorated beautifully and with little twists of aromas that makes it an adventure to eat! Short walk from the historic senter. They also have live music and events weekly! Absolutely recommended!

My boyfriend and I walked for a while to get there but it was well worth it once we found it! Located close the bus station. The owners are very sweet, a nice guy from Italy and a sweet lady from Rio. We enjoyed talking to them! The food was delicious, I got a quinoa veggie plate and my bf got a fresh salad. The pineapple mint juice was also very fresh! I recommend this place for great food and a nice atmosphere!!
