Nice Place

I had vegan dumplings and crispy rice bowl. The food is tasty and the portion was large for the rice bowl. I’d love to see more dishes have vegan adaptability in the future. What they offer is a nice experience and it is worth the visit.

Was not worth it

The food was very pricy. We got dumplings, fried tofu, and bibimbap. The dumplings and tofu were good but overpriced. The bibimbop was... interesting...

They gave us non-vegan sides. Luckily we asked about it and they were able to switch them to vegan sides, which tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge for 2 weeks.

None of the food tasted authentic, and it just seemed like a white lady decided what Korean cuisine was. I would never go here again or recommend this place to others.

Pros: Servers were nice, Vegan food clearly labeled, Servers were accommodating

Cons: Food taste, Food price, Lack of authenticity

Hit or Miss

We had Tofu Japchae, Tofu KimChee Udon Stir Fry and Tofy Bibimbap all were made vegan. The Japchae $13 was very good. KimChee Udon $16 was ok. The Bibimbap $20 was really really tasteless. Very light spice, no flavor at all. I only ate the tofu. I was extremely disappointed. The pan fried dumplings $11 were not bad. I thought they were good husband didn’t care for them. We won’t be going back.

Pros: Service, Very accommodating , Very kind

Cons: Tasteless, No flavor , Expensive. High price!

Would go again, lil expensive, but appreciate option in town & vegan

Got blueberry rice beer (makku), mandu (dumplings), Bibimbap (rice & veg), & korean fried tofu. Sides they just offer with all meals: kimchi, spiced cubed potato, & bean sprouts. The stars for me: rice beer & bibimbap. The stone pot caramelized the rice which was pretty amazing, like soft as normal rice, but then some sections were crunchy. The items were a bit more oily than we'd like, however my stomach was fine despite usually being sensitive to that. I appreciate this option exists in Rochester & they even offer many vegan items. Other items I plan to order: japchae (sweet potato noodles with peppers & light seasoning).
Wish they could make Tteobokki (rice cakes with spicy sauce) & kimchi fried rice vegan as those are my favorites

Pros: Vegan options, Different than anything else in town

Cons: Price, Oily

not many options

i liked the ambience here & there’s a cool cocktail bar upstairs (1928) but what i originally wanted to order was not able to be made vegan. i did enjoy the vegan dumplings though.

Bebap Korean Food

I wanted to finally check this place out for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. I got the vegan dumplings for an appetizer; they were amazing. Next time I’ll have to try the tofu or mushrooms. I got Bibim Guksu for an entree with tofu; the portion was large and it was spicy, fresh and flavorful. I was impressed by the number of dishes clearly marked vegan and our waiter mentioned that they were able to accommodate most dishes.

Pros: Vegan options , Freshness and quality of food , Ambience

Cons: Their kimchee isn’t vegan
