Cute Traditional Tea Rooms; Okay For Vegans. - Edit
Beau's Tea Room is a popular cafe situated in the idyllic town of Beaumaris. The cafe is quaint and cosy, and they serve breakfast and lunch daily.
Read moreDuring my visit this morning, the breakfast menu had one vegetarian breakfast and no vegan options. The lunch menu had labelled vegan options, but rather confusingly, the vegetarian options were not labelled, and some dishes seemed as if they would be vegan, but we're not labelled as such. The labelled vegan options were the following:
- Wild Mushroom Stroganoff
- Coronation Chickpea Jacket Potato or Sandwich
Some of the unlabelled meatless options included:
- Sweet Potato and Katsu Curry
- Soup of the Day
- Hummus, Red Pepper and Cucumber Sandwich
- Beans on Toast (Kids)
I had the Coronation Chickpea Jacket Potato and an Oat Flat White. I enjoyed them both, and the coronation chickpea itself was incredibly tasty and well made. For vegans planning to visit Beau's Tea Rooms I highly recommend studying the menu before visiting and I also think you should be prepared to discuss what is or isn't vegan and what could be made vegan for you.

Vegan cake available. - Edit
Only been in once but thought I’d mention that this café has vegan cakes available.
Read moreThey aren’t always labelled as such (apparently they don’t sell as well if so labelled) so you need to ask which are vegan friendly.

Do yourselves a favour and get the stroganoff - Edit
Only three options (mushroom stroganoff, falafel sandwich, and pepper and houmous sandwich). But it's a small cafe so it's three more than was expected!
Read more70p charge for plant milks was a little disappointing, and it was almost £4 for a pot of "specialist tea" that was just a twinnings tea bag.
But the stroganoff was delicious. The red pepper and houmous sandwich was what you'd expect, but there was a lot of filling so there's that atleast.
Apparently they have a vegan cake, but they were out when we went
Pros: The stroganoff was delicious , The cafe is so cute and sweet
Cons: Not many options, Charge for plant milk

Fair, worth a visit if in the area - Edit
We had cheese and pickle sandwiches and a cheese and onion toastie alongside an oat cappuccino and a tea. Very good service. I found it overpriced for what it was but at least there are options so happy about that. Lovely staff.
Read morePros: Good service , Selection of milks
Cons: Quite pricey , Probably need to queue

Cute tea room - Edit
A lovely, traditional tea room, complete with quirky mismatching crockery. It's very small and we were lucky to get a table as we noticed that they had to start turning people away after we'd arrived.
Read moreThere was a good food menu. A little light on vegan options, but the sort of place where you felt they had given a nod towards vegans, even though they didn't have to as are clearly already very popular. Also, an absolutely huge tea menu.
Service was prompt and friendly. Worth a stop if you can get in!

Cute little cafe - Edit
Stopped off here whilst leaving Anglesey. Cute tea room with lots of vintage crockery and tea pots etc. Very busy, had to queue to get in, but tables nicely spaced out. Staff really lovely. They’re trying really hard to be vegan friendly and even had a separate menu. But it did mostly involve vegan cheese. I ordered a jacket potato with vegan cheese and coleslaw from the vegan menu. The waitress was quick to come back and say the coleslaw wasn’t vegan, so did I still want it! I guess never assume they’ve thought of everything when producing a menu 😂 So ended up with cheese and chutney. Was really tasty, potato cooked perfectly. Had a choice of plant based milk too. Good that they’re trying, sure they’ll get better choices in time with a bit more vegan custom😄

Cons: Need to double check what you order is vegan , Gets very busy
