Serves meat, vegan options available. Coffee house and breakfast joint featuring two vegan breakfast options: the Costello scramble and the vegan burrito (clearly marked vegan on menu). Many breakfast items are served with apple bread, which is not vegan. Order the Costello with sourdough toast and specify no butter and no apple bread. Open Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm, Sat-Sun 7:00am-2:00pm.

My first choice restaurant wasn't serving vegan breakfast this morning so I had to come here. The staff was friendly and helpful with vegan options although many of them were just omitting the egg. I got the vegan burrito which was filled with a lot of veggies and tofu. It was rather bland but thankfully they had an assortment of hot sauces, which made it better. I also got a soy matcha latte, which was delicious. I was very disappointed that they had a ton of baked goods and not one of them was vegan. It's so easy to make vegan baked goods so I don't understand why no effort was put into a vegan option here. Overall, I might visit again in a pinch but it was only OK.

The vegan burrito is ok, but it’s do oily that I won’t eat there any longer. The coffee is pretty good.

Only one formal (0 modification) vegan option which I sadly wasn’t a huge fan of, and quite expensive for what it was. Really no incentive for me to go back unless a social event was being held there, and even then I’d consider eating before I went.

Tasty Breakfast Burritos - Edit
Beatniks is a large space with a cozy feel, and a large breakfast menu. Of the 3 vegan dishes, I ordered the vegan burrito, which was brimming with an assortment of nicely cooked veggies and tofu. Very fresh tasting and a generous size. The other vegan options are a scramble minus the dairy and whole grain porridge. As they offer gluten- free pancakes, it would be nice if vegan ones were also on the menu. My oat latte was also very good, plus they ended up with an extra one, which they gave me in a to go cup. ( it was my birthday, so i guess i scored a gift!) My only complaint about this place is that with such a large menu, a few more vegan options would be welcome.
