A Lovely bit of Scran!

Tucked away just off a main road, Bea's is easy to find and spot with it's lively paintwork. We arrived for a late breakfast and were made to feel very welcome. We liked the wide choice of vegan and veggie breakfasts, with flexible options, they do also serve traditional cooked breakfast. We opted for scrambled eggs on toast x 1 and full veggie breakfast x 1, both of which were cooked fresh and tasted delicious. The portion sizes were generous and meant that we skipped lunch. The only downside - we made the mistake of not expressly asking for ground coffee, so were served a mug of instant coffee instead, we noted afterwards it is mentioned in the menu so we know to ask for it specifically next time! After breakfast we ended up having a chat with the staff who were both very sociable.

Pros: Good value for money, Friendly staff, Wide choice of breakfast options

Cons: Limited parking, Does serve meat

Vegan breakfast is great

Great to see a traditional local cafe adding a few vegan-friendly options to the many, Can definitively recommend the vegan breakfast. Tastes nice and fresh and is great value for money. Standard cafe food with vegan options.

Pros: Nice vegan options, Great value for money, Friendly staff

Cons: Serves meat, Limited options, Few healthy option
