The brainchild of Dom Brown, chef and owner of BearKat pop up supper clubs. The Bistro is exclusively vegetarian and vegan food with a specific focus on quality local produce. Vegans can order the butternut kebabs, nutty falafel, tarts and many other items. Situated in the iconic Lyric Theater. Quirky decor, interesting music, book and DVD libraries. Open Tue-Sat 8:00am-3:00pm. Evening bookings considered.

friendly staff, great coffee - Edit
Stopped here for a coffee during the Christmas travels, and so glad we did. Great coffee, quirky place and a friendly attitude. Lovely owner, who was more than happy for a conversation and even joined us for a game of cards. I will have to try the food next time!

Lovely food and coffee - Edit
A lovely little cafe, well worth visiting if you are in the area. They don't do breakfast, but I had a vegetable pasty fresh from the oven and some vegan cake. Both were absolutely delicious. Almost all cakes were vegan, and they do proper coffee. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan options. Definitely recommend this place!

Very nice food - Edit
Chanced across this whilst working in Bridport, always a nice surprise to come across a veggie/vegan restaurant . Had lunch, vegan Pizza with several different cold dishes. Then had Vegan Chocolate/Avocado cake.
Food was excellent and the owner very friendly. Quirky décor and great atmosphere. Food well priced
Pros: food delicious, friendly owner, good prices
Cons: not a large choice of food, but not a problem!
