Love this place!

Bean’s is a super cute, family friendly ice cream parlor right when you enter Poquoson. Tons of seating. Staff is young and friendly. They offer 3 flavors of vegan ice cream and 2 sorbets that are vegan friendly, as well. It’s Hershey brand, oat milk ice cream. Ice cream flavors are Chocolate Chunk, Classic Cookie, and Simply Vanilla. I love the chocolate and cookie. Their cones are not specifically labeled vegan. But there’s nothing that blatantly says it contains animal products on the ingredients list either. The staff will show you the ingredients list upon request. I was comfortable with having the cake cone. The waffle cone had “artificial flavors” listed, which is sus. But because of that, I went with the cake cone which didn’t have any artificial or natural flavors listed. The staff will ask you if you are vegan for allergies or preference so that they know how carefully they have to avoid cross contamination, which I appreciate. Love that you can get one scoop in a cup, and it’s a nice, small serving.
