An Excellent Offering of Vegan Groceries and Vegan Deli Treats! - Edit
Beacon is so fortunate to have this little market on it's Main Street. I've traveled across the country from Oakland, CA to escape the wildfires and COVID madness and to quarantine with family and friends in New England. I am staying within walking distance of this market. I was not expecting to find many of the same vegan brands that I am used to in CA in more remote areas like the Hudson River Valley, but they are all here at the Beacon Natural Market! In addition, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very very helpful. I really enjoy my experience every time I go. Also, I feel safe in the market because only 7 customers are allowed in at a time and everyone is wearing masks and respectful of space. The staff is friendly about making sure that shoppers and staff practice safe distancing. One other thing to note, and I'm not sure it matters to most people but I realized that I kind of like it--the staff has always been all women the times I have shopped there, and for some reason I find that comforting. It's a softer, lighter, quieter, friendlier grocery shopping experience, kind of like everyone is there to help each other but also to let each other be in their own space at their own pace.
