Lunch at Beaches - Edit
We had a delicious lunch at Beaches today. The staff were very accommodating to our vegan and gluten free needs. The coffee and chai tea were great also.

A small menu all together, but with about half of the options either being vegan or can be made vegan. The Beaches is very accommodating of Vegans and even had some vegan sweets.

Great for vegetarians - Edit
Friendly welcome and a nice spot to sit, inside and out. Lots of sweets in the cabinet and specials on the board.
Read moreI enjoyed the taste of the smoothie, but it needed to be blended a little more as it still had pieces of dates and banana in it. The coffee was good.
I too, was surprised at how few menu items were vegan at a vegetarian cafe. Although I understand they can adapt items, it's really not that different from going to an omni cafe for vegans; take off the egg or without the feta... I wasn't inspired or hungry enough to order food on this visit.

All vegetarian but no vegan ??? - Edit
Interesting menu choice here - all vegetarian (read: lots of cheese) but nothing vegan on its own. Had to customise the gado-gado to be vegan, which they were very helpful with and the meal was delicious - but it's a shame this was the only option. Considering they already don't serve meat, a bit more thought to make some vegan dishes would go a long way. Plant based milk is also extra.
