Good vegan options for the beach - Edit
Their vegan menu has seemingly shrunk a bit (I wanted sausage or pie but both have gone. No vegan halloumi either any more).
Read moreBut what's left is still good! The tofish is very well done, and the battered spiced cauliflower was tasty too. Decent portions and reasonable prices too.
The curry sauce tasted less like a chip shop curry sauce and more like something you might use for an actual curry, which was a bit disappointing.
I'd definitely go back here, and especially recommend this place if you like good tofish.

Me and my partner really enjoyed, a whole section of the menu is vegan, staff seem knowledgeable. Had a 'tofish' which tasted fishy/realistic, chips which were great, vegan curry sauce (I loved this though my partner wasn't too keen) and came with a little side salad, managed to grab a bench outside, really enjoyed and would definitely come back again. Would give 5* if allowed

They can also do vegan, gluten free options too
Also it seems they cooked the tofish differently, just 2 days after we had our meal.
We had sprinkles of nori in the batter but I am now seeing people have nori sheets, which would have been nicer.

Nice to have a choice of vegan options. We went for a small tofish and chips with vegan tartare sauce and a side of battered cauliflower. Lovely!

Wow 1st eating out in Penarth. Was excited that they have a vegan menu and the food is cheap. Typical fast food with huge portions.
Read moreI had the cheese, beans and chips for like £4.60 which was large. Then vegan Haloumi in batter which was £3.10 another customer recommended it but I disliked it as it tasted more like plasticy blue cheese. Paid extra 20p for tomato sauce sachets
I'd come again to try other things.

Went today and they were “cleaning the vegan fryer” so no access to vegan food. It was prime time of 13:00.

More than 10 vegan options, with a designated vegan batter. Offer vegan sausage, halloumi, cheese, sausage, pies and more. Not too greasy and nice and fresh. Would recommend! Great to sit on the beach with.
