Disappointing! - Edit
Went to this bistro today for lunch after having messaged them saying we were vegan and checking they were open! They did not confirm that there were vegan options but I thought they would've mentioned that there was only 1 thing! I was optimistic given the details on Happy Cow re options for lunch!

There was no soya milk only oat!
My daughter ordered a vegan brownie, when it came it was mouldy! I tool it back and they were very nice, apologised, but offered me another piece of vegan brownie or a croissant. Again very apologetic!
We declined both and they gave a refund no problem!
Pros: Good coffee in gorgeous large mugs!, Nice seating area in the sun! , Clean and tidy outside, good rustic vibe!
Cons: Staff lacked knowledge re vegan / veggies., Mouldy vegan brownie no other option available., Just vegan sausage roll for lunch nothing with it?

No way were we given any other options! A review from another vegan below states the same. No one offered us any other options we would have taken them as we were starving!I object to being called a liar! We have nothing to gain! As you have said the review has positives and negatives! You've got a lot to learn including not treating vegans like aliens when they come in, as there are a lot of us about! Also I emailed you before we came and you were very vague when you responded yet we still came to see what you had!

Was disappointed to find no vegan mains on lunch menu, just a sausage roll. However the staff member was helpful and said they could add items from the adjacent chip shop which is the same business, so I had the cauliflower bites which were good and a large portion. High rating because they have 8 vegan ice cream flavours, the mint chic chip I tried was gorgeous. They can also do their smoothies, shakes and hot chocolate vegan.

Just had a very tasty vegan muffin at this proper seaside café. Muffin was loaded with avocado, peppers, mushrooms, spinach, onions - first rate. Lovely friendly staff too😄

Really nice to get the full works- sausages, hash browns, portobello mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, beans and toast! Nice coffee too!
