Great Vegan Food in SJD - Edit
Although the vegan scene in SJD is a little light, it is growing, however Beach Dogs was one of the first to show up on the dining scene and is one of the best. We've eaten here a couple times over more than a year and the food is delicious.

Pretty good location within walking distance of downtown SJD. It's a small restaurant with just a couple of tables, but I believe that do quite a bit of takeout. We've never had an issue finding a seat.

Great menu with several options for hot dogs and a couple burgers. They also have some interesting beverages such as flavored oatmeal water and such. The only downside is no alcohol, but I've not lowered the rating because of this.
Quality of Food: 5 Stars
The food quality is awesome. All house made (I believe) and fresh. The dogs are especially delicious and are my favorite things on the menu, but all of the food is great.
Value: 5 Stars
Great value for what you get. Portions are good size and as mention with the quality, the food is great.
Service: 5 Stars
Perfect friendly, prompt service. They remembered us from the previous year, which is really nice. No issues at all.

Loved Beach Dog! - Edit
The food is excellent at Beach Dog, and we really enjoyed talking to the owner Sandra who is very warm and kind. She told us she loves animals and the beach, hence the name of the restaurant. A great experience, and would highly recommend going! / La comida fue excelente, y la dueña Sandra es una persona muy amable, muy sincera. Ella nos dijo que ella ama a los animales y la playa, y por eso, el nombre de restaurante😄Una gran experiencia y lo recomendaría :)

Great place for both vegans and vegetarians - Edit
I had the cauliflower wings with BBQ which were very good. Then also had the Chihuahua Dog, this was amazing. My father had the Labrador Burger which he says he enjoyed a lot. Great place to go out for dinner when visiting Cabo. The menu was in both English and Spanish which made it easier for me to understand what I was reading.

Food was awesome! Small place, incredibly friendly and communication is no issue. Inexpensive and incredibly good! I would totally recommend Beach Dog if you are in Cabo!

3 of us decided to take a walk and check this place out after finding it on Happy Cow and it was the best decision we could have made. We had 2 burgers and a hotdog and also shared fries and buffalo cauliflower.
Read moreEverything tasted fresh and flavourful! Staff were friendly and attentive. They decorated the little space very well. The place has seating for maybe 15 people and definitely has that beach vibe.
Do yourself a favour and give this place a try!

On Beach Dog's FB page it says they are open from 2PM to 10PM, not 4PM to 10Pm.

We just stopped in for a snack-fries- but wished we’d gotten something to go. Fries were perfect, and so nice to know they were not fried with chicken or seafood. Definitely recommend! It is worth the walk!
