Great Mexican food and really large portions! - Edit
Beach Burrito is a joint that I have visited a couple of times on my visits to Coogee. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for great Mexican food and what I felt were pretty large portions. On my visits there, I tried the pulled jackfruit burrito, quesadilla and jalapeño poppers. I really enjoyed the quesadilla though I struggled to finish it. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about this place was that it wasn’t very clean. The tables were a bit sticky and gross.

Jackfruit burrito was yum! - Edit
The burrito was yummy. The guac and some other sides are vegan friendly and the staff also told me to specify that I was vegan when ordering using the barcode so they would be sure to clean the cooking surface and make sure there was no cross contamination which I thought was very nice and thoughtful.

I opted for the jackfruit burrito, it was tasty and not too expensive however not spice enough for my taste! There weren’t many vegan options but what we had was delicious

Had the jackfruit burrito which tasted amazing. Came with a few tortilla chips on the side. The options weren’t amazing but what was vegan did taste so good!

Great vegan tacos! - Edit
I went on taco tuesday ($3 tacos) and I was blown away with how yummy these were! There is one vegan option and there is a vegetarian option that can be modified. The corn tortillas are a great option to if you want to change from regular wheat.

Read moreThey had vegan items clearly listed, also veg and GF too. They did tofu & veges options, only listed as veg but you could easily leave out the cheese & sour cream.
I had the jackfruit fajita. Very tasty.
Also quite happy they serve Sailor Jerry & Bundy Ginger Beer.
Pros: Vegan, veg & GF all listed clearly., Jackfruit as an option
Cons: Could do with a vegan cheese option maybe?

The jackfruit burrito is really really good and can get upgraded to an enchilada burrito or bowl as well .. they also have great daily deals including one (Tuesday I think) where they do two burritos and a guac chips and salsa for $25 .. there are deals for every day and the vibe is very relaxed and nice
