Limited options - Edit
As a cafe that markets itself as being allergen concious and friendly, you'd think staff would be aware of what is and is not vegan.
Read moreI had a bad experience a while ago when I asked what cabinet food was vegan and i was offered a roast veggie panini. When it came out it was covered with cheese. I took it back and they said they didnt know cheese wasnt vegan. They made me a new panini without cheese and did not charge me for the first panini which was good.
The vegan breakfast board is nice but is served with butter for some reason. It is also very pricey for what it is.
Pros: Nice coffee
Cons: Very few options

One vegan option - Edit
The vegan board was ok. Could tell the mushrooms had been cooked and just heated up to serve. Lots of salad to fill the plate with two tiny pieces of bread.

Disappointed with dairy free options - Edit
This cafe promotes as allergen friendly. I paid $8.50 for a "smoothie" which was a tall glass of soy milk with ice and flavouring. As an allergy friendly cafe I was surprised that they didn't have a dairy free icecream option and that there was an extra $1 charge for non dairy milk. I don't mind paying extra for soy but don't think it's worth it in this case.

Super nice vibe and people! - Edit
Had a lovely afternoon at Be Rude Not To Cafe! My boyfriend broke his collar bone and we needed reliable WiFi and wanted fresh food and good coffee. They had all of that and a really nice staff. Awesome vegan breakfast board (breakfast served all day), and lots of options that could be veganized, as well as a roasted veggie vegan salad that was delicious. Good alternative milks, too!

Not bad - Edit
The only vegan option on the menu is the all day breakfast board. Keen for a veggie hit, I gave it a go. I got a very small portion of mushroom and tomato, fried potato and onion, a big pile of lettuce, two slices of toast and a couple of tasty spreads. It wasn't really what I expected, but was very tasty. Not really sure it is worth $18 though...

NOT IMPRESSED - Edit
First time in as I generally go to Zippy's next door but decided to give it a go. There was a notice to say it had changed hands and it certainly LOOKED more inviting than when it first opened. It was a cold day and I was freezing. The Vegan brekkie had one small mushroom and half a tomato, heaps of lettuce that had jam on it (randomly) and toast and jam on the side. I had to hand back the butter pac. Ridiculously priced at $18. The coffee, which I had to remind them about came eventually and was made with crap soya milk. I abandoned it and am typing this from the warmth of Zippy central and sipping great coffee.

Got the vegan breakfast here, which was very tasty. Very fresh and healthy as opposed to just a load of fried stuff.

Nice cafe with good service - Edit
Enjoyable atmosphere with a good number of vegan and vegetarian options available. Friendly staff and the food was very tasty.
Read moreI found the food a little oily but it wouldn't bother most.
I tried the
- Morrocan carrot salad (5 stars)
- Courgette salad (3.5 stars)
- Mushroom Salad (5 stars)
Portions were not generous. The three salads were loaded into one 'large' take away container but it was just enough to keep me going.
Recommend visiting this cafe.
Pros: Some vegan options, Friendly staff
Cons: A little expensive for the portion size. , Food a little oily - won't bother most.
