Lime Pie, sharp and sweet like the lovely proprietor, Serene.
One of the best desserts I have ever had, it was an explosion of spring come summer, vibrant and full of life.
I broke out into the biggest smile the moment the smell hit my nose.
A truly giggle-creating experience, that is what food should be, made with love.
Serene is a real artist and creative soul using the ingredients at hand and transforming ordinary things into little heavens.

A happy vegan surprise! - Edit
We stumbled across Be Kind while attempting to turn around in Asda car park after missing our turning! It was a sight for sore eyes for us whilst travelling up the Cornish coast. The venue is amazingly cute and funky. Shereen was really chatty, helpful and provided great quality food and service. My New York bagel was delicious - really tasty fillings with the perfect balance of ingredients. Coffee was the best we’d had in Cornwall up to this point and since. The raspberry coconut brownie was just yummy, as was the caramel slice - a rare skill to get vegan caramel SO right!!! We couldn’t resist taking away a tahini slice which was absolutely delicious too! Highly recommend!

Supreme Vegan Lunch Options Alongside Epic Homemade Cakes And Treats - Edit
Be Kind have a wonderful array of vegan deliciousness in the form of original and varied lunch options, incredible homemade cakes and treats, top notch coffee and other hot and cold refreshments. The original serving caravan has been joined by a lovely second vintage caravan, Betty, which has been decked out beautifully as a place to relax and eat your meal in the warm and dry on those occasional rainy days we get here in Cornwall! This is a plant-based oasis in Hayle which will delight you with the caliber of supreme tastes it has on offer so you've got to make sure you head over to try it.

Be kind the vegan caravan - Edit
Bekind , a little cute caravan serving plant based scrummy food 😀
Read moreDogs and little ones very welcome, based in an idyllic spot opposite asda at the end of their carpark (ASDA has toilet facilities, baby-changing and disabled toilets).
Hayle, with its breath taking beaches, good transport links, train station and bus stops near by, and asdas large car parking space (free for 2 hours).
Just one useful tip, if you bring your own cups, plates, utensils, they are less likely to be blown away by the Hayle wind 😅, which is also better for the environment, as we were fighting to keep our food and paper plates from blowing away. Luckily, we only lost a paper napkin. We will return prepared next time.
A lovely chilled out, outdoor experience, run by a very lovely lady called Serene.
Thank you Serene, looking forward to our next visit ☺️
(PS I would HIGHLY recommend the New Yorker Bagel)

A vegan oasis - Edit
I was getting “hangry” driving around the area trying to find some decent vegan food and remembered about the Happy Cow app. I discovered Be Kind vegan caravan and headed over straight away. Immediately I loved it. Cute little caravan with benches nestled among wild flowers, arty buts here and there, a sea view in the distance but more important than all of that, a great choice of delicious, fresh and interesting vegan food provided by the lovely Sherene. I had an oat milk chai latte, a summer wrap and cake. All of which was lovely! We sat in the sun and planned our next return, it won’t be long. Support Sherene, she is running a fabulous vegan oasis here in Hayle.

What a little oasis this pop up vintage caravan is nestled amongst Hayle
Read moreThe menu was absolutely FANTSTIC.
Some well loved classics but tantalising new ideas too.
From salads, to bagels, to BLT, to Jack fruit, cheesey toasties with a twist! , to herby lemon and pea risotto all with salads, pickles, hot cold and an astonishing delicious selection of tray bakes… alted caramel, brownies, pecans and my faves the tahini bars coated in chocolate.
Prices were phenomenal for this kind of well cooked, well loved menu. Please visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Benches outside were lovely and we met some wonderful people but could keep to yourself if preferred. One of the best kept vegan secret places. Visit as soon as you can x

The best place to eat, ever! - Edit
Me, my husband and kids visit Hayle at least twice a year and always get food from Be Kind every day that we are there. The food is absolutely stunning as is the coffee and it's so nice not having to worry about hidden animal products! The owner is also lovely, we always have a good chat while waiting for our coffee ☺️ can't wait to come down again soon!

Scherene is just lovely, the chatty crows are a treat to watch, and the community that this lovely vegan coffee van attracts is one of its greatest attractions. There are regular community events being held here, from litter picks, art classes and community knitting circles to name a few.
Coffee, cake and community, oh and of course, those wonderful friendly chatty crows.

The owner was so lovely and kind each time we visited. Soy milk cappuccinos were perfect as well as the cuban, panko breaded chick’n wrap, and brownie. All of the food sounded delicious. Would’ve loved to try more if we lived closer! Parking at Asda was also a plus.
