Es war mit Abstand das leckerste Essen in Paris. Es ist einfach alles perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Kulinarisch auf einem extrem hohen Niveau.
Read moreMan kann für 33€ fast alles von der Karte probieren. Zu dem Preis gibt es 2 Vorspeisen, 1 Hauptgang und 1 Dessert - es lohnt sich um einfach so viel wie möglich auszuprobieren, denn ALLES (wirklich ALLES) ist einfach unfassbar lecker.
Wenn ihr nur ein Hauptgericht haben wollt, nimmt unbedingt den Burger.
Ich habe nirgendwo so einen guten Burger gegessen. Als Vorspeise unbedingt das Brokkoli nehmen - es ist überragend!
WICHTIG: das Restaurant ist extrem beliebt und ihr solltet dringend reservieren. Spontan einen Platz finden ist eher schwierig.

We loved it here. Delicious food and fantastic staff. We had the zucchini fritters and candied eggplant to start followed by the the no-chicken tacos with a broccoli skewer and the Better burger with baby smashed potatoes. For dessert we shared the BBQ roasted peach. Good sized portions and all super tasty. The spicy mojito and Spritz were great and we enjoyed a bottle of red with the food and finished with very good coffee. Can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Paris 💚

The place is cute, the staff are nice, the food is styled beautifully. But nothing is very flavorful. We had the potatoes, grilled broccoli, the chicken and the mushroom tacos, and the grilled peach dessert. The potatoes were decent, though too soft. Broccoli was supposed to be grilled in bbq sauce but tasted like nothing. The tacos were beautiful but below average, and I must say lentils are not a natural combination with chicken nuggets. The mushrooms themselves were good. The grilled peaches were the best part of the meal, it’s hard to go wrong with a summer peach.

Read moreThank you for your feedback. We have to admit we were quite surprised by the harshness of this review, especially as some of the criticism seems to be based on a misunderstanding of the dishes.
Our broccoli is not supposed to be grilled in BBQ sauce. As stated on the menu, it is marinated and then grilled over a charcoal BBQ. The sauce served with it is our homemade satay sauce, so perhaps there was simply a misreading of the description.
Regarding the tacos being “below average”, we would genuinely be curious to know what you are comparing them to. Our food is not intended to reproduce a particular Tex-Mex standard, but rather to combine different ingredients and influences in our own way.
And as for lentils not being a “natural combination” with plant-based chicken nuggets, we’re not quite sure why they shouldn’t be. Lentils are a very common legume in France, and we are actually proud to serve them: the ones we use are local and organic. For us, plant-based cooking is precisely about being able to create combinations beyond the usual conventions.
We’re glad you enjoyed the mushrooms and especially the grilled peach, even if we would like to think there is a little more to our dessert than simply “it’s hard to go wrong with a summer peach.” 🙂

I had the mushroom tacos and the broccoli skewers. The Broccoli was very smokey but a bit too soft for my taste. I expected them to be a bit more on the crunchy side. The tacos were pretty good, filled with crunchy mushrooms and lentils. I always appreciate fillings which are not mock meat so that's a plus. The staff was very nice and the food came pretty fast. All in all this is worth a visit I'd say but maybe not if you only have one day in Paris.

Concernant les cocktails servis tièdes, cela n’est évidemment pas normal. Nous aurions simplement aimé que vous nous le signaliez sur place afin que notre équipe puisse les refaire immédiatement.
Les goûts, les portions et la perception des prix restent bien sûr subjectifs. Nous tenons néanmoins à préciser que notre cuisine, entièrement végétale et faite maison à partir de produits soigneusement sélectionnés, est très largement appréciée par nos clients.
Nos tarifs tiennent également compte de notre localisation dans le Marais, de la qualité des produits utilisés et du travail nécessaire à leur préparation. Notre ticket moyen est d’environ 30 € par personne et notre menu dégustation reste la meilleure option pour découvrir plusieurs plats avec le rapport quantité-prix le plus avantageux.
Nous regrettons que votre expérience n’ait pas été plus positive.

I went there to introduce my bf to my grandpa; they both eat meat normally. I loved the place for it's aesthetic vibe and super kind staff, but my grandpa even claimed a lot of their stuff tasted a lot like real meat and both of them loved it too!

We’re a small, independent restaurant with just 26 seats and an open kitchen centred around a charcoal BBQ. That setup is very much part of our identity ; it allows us to cook everything to order over live fire, but it can occasionally mean that some cooking aromas make their way into the room, especially during busy services.
Regarding the food, we’re genuinely surprised by your feedback. Our dishes are all made in-house, with seasonal ingredients sourced from local organic producers, and a lot of care goes into both flavour and technique. While presentation matters, substance is always our priority.
We always encourage guests to share feedback with us during the meal... we would have gladly adjusted or replaced anything that wasn’t to your liking.
We hope you might consider giving us another try in the future.

I can’t find words for this extraordinary experience I had at B. Better. The service was so friendly and welcoming, but still had an eye for everything, just wow. The drinks were simply tasty and a great addition to the main course, which were out of this world and well enough to satisfy my hunger. Together with the price, which was completely fine, my visit here was amazingly pleasant.

The restaurant was small and we only saw one person serving all the greeter/service roles, but he did a great job. The food was absolutely delicious. The menu was informative re: which dishes were big enough for a full meal, and which dishes required an appetizer. Overall, we look forward to coming here again.

A very interesting main modelled on the texture of grilled Octopus but using Mushrooms. Very delicious served with a simple and tasty mashed potato. We then shared the chocolate cake - perfect!
Can’t wait to revisit for a third time on our next visit to Paris.
