Delicious curry with excellent service and a beautiful view of the beach and sea - Edit

Delicious dining in lovely surrounds with a cool sea breeze and a view of the ocean. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable. I absolutely enjoyed the curries particularly the eggplant curry and gotu kola and would happily order again. The service was friendly, professional and prompt.

Pros: Beautiful atmosphere for dining , Tasty curry, Lovely staff

Excellent Piña colada made with fresh coconut cream at Bay Vista in Arugam Bay

This eggplant curry was my ultimate favourite - the flavour was outstanding at Bay Vista in Arugam Bay

Amazing rice and curry! Great service too and what a view! - Edit

We had the vegan rice and curry option and were really impressed! The food was fresh and tasty and the service was relaxed, friendly and nice. A little on the pricey side, but many places in AB are pricey.

Pros: Delicious vegan rice and curry, Beautiful location, Great service

Cons: A little expensive

Menu has changed - Edit

This restaurant isn’t vegetarian and they don’t have many vegan options anymore. In low season and after covid it was very expensive, but the sitting area outside is quiet nice and they have amazing yoga classes on the rooftop😉

Pros: Nice sitting outside, good for hanging out

Cons: Not many vegan options

Disappointment - Edit

The food is overpriced and I never had a smaller portion of french fries in my entire life! No smoothie bowls anymore and not many vegan options anymore.

This is not a vegetarian cafe - Edit

While advertised on here as a vegetarian cafe, they are not.
They have meat, with some vegetarian options and a couple of vegan options.
Lovely setting to sit outside and enjoy the beach.

Delicious range of vegan options! - Edit

Found this place on our last day in Abay and disappointed we didn’t come here sooner (we got sucked into the Hideaway cafe). They have a good range of smoothie bowls, avo on toast and juices. The salad menu looked good as well!

Pros: Good range of smoothie bowl options

Cons: Food takes quite awhile to come out
