Two vegan pasta dishes, no vegan cheese available - Edit
There's one vegan signature dish The holy mary'. But you ned to ask it with glutenfree pasta (which is vegan).
Read moreAnd two options for vegan sauce if you create your own: the bolo bastard or the hot tomato. Unfortunately no vegan cheese available.
I had the Bolo bastard (bolognaise sauce, with vegan mince), 14,50€ topped with 3 vegan 'cheatballs' 3€.
And with vegan pasta 2€.
A large portion (couldnt finish it). Ok sauce, but would be so much nicer with vegan cheese.
And why do we have to pay 2€ extra for vegan spaghetti?
Enjoyable atmosphere. Nice music. But small pub like wooden chairs, not so comfy. There'a also a large upstairs area.
Very friendly service.
Entrance accessible - small ramp. Toilets upstairs. Toilets clean, but the tiles/plints, floor, could use a good scrub. Dirty.
Dryer for ones hands.

Delicious bolognaise - Edit
Had a pdf allergen menu which was very helpful. The vibe is you create your own meal - so many options and vegan/gluten free spaghetti and sauces.

hmmm ... - Edit
came to bavet a bit apprehensively as not all the reviews i read for vegans were very positive but thought we would try. i ordered the bolo bastard pasta dish which was yummy however nothing special. the pasta to sauce ratio was off, with my bowl containing A LOT of spaghetti which had all been cut up into smaller bits, which i found a bit strange. my boyfriend (meat eater) had a much worse experience than me, saying his spaghetti dish was bland and the halloumi he ordered for a starter was rock hard. so overall maybe not the best place to go if you are a vegan or a meat eater?
Read morePros: vegan bolognese sauce was nice, restaurant was cute, nice atmosphere
Cons: only GF pasta is vegan, too much spaghetti, not enough sauce , cutlery was a bit dirty

Don't bother - Edit
I asked for a vegan pasta with extra vegan "cheatballs". They gave me real meat and laughed when I pointed out the mistake.

Delicious!! - Edit
I am so surprised at how good this was, I made my own spaghetti with the basic vegan sauce and added a few cheatballs. Loved it, no notes. Also the staff were friendly, and allowed us to bring our dog inside.

An hour wait for basic spaghetti. - Edit
Once we got the food, it was exactly as advertised, but as such shouldn't have taken an hour to get. Lots of school kids left the minimal weighting staff stretched, management could have done better by their team.

Loved it - Edit
If you love ooey gooey cheese and pasta or your looking for somewhere to go with meat eating friends try here. I had spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and fake mince and my partner had the bolognaise with meatballs. There are 2 vegan dishes to choose from and you can go for a set dish or choose options from pasta and sauce off the menu. Lovely quick service with friendly helpful staff who understand allergies and diet requests. The novelty is you get spaghetti bibs and the menu comes on a vinyl record. Great place for a group dinner.

Just like mama used to make - Edit
There are three pasta dishes that can be made vegan, and the menu is very clearly labelled so no confusion. I had the bolognaise which uses Vegetarian Butcher mince and was so delicious. They also offer ‘cheatballs’, a vegan meatball that can be added onto the dish and are very tasty. Staff were very friendly. #Veganuary

Go getti some spaghetti - Edit
So chuffed to have stumbled across this place. Really generous portion sizes and a good selection of veggie and vegan meat replacements. Cosy atmosphere, and great location in the centre of Bruges. Great flavours and loved the complimentary bib too!

Super friendly staff, good portion sizes, nice pasta - Edit
Loved the vinyl-menue and how kindly the staff explained everything to us. Not that much vegan variety on the menue, but the pasta was delicious. Portion size 'like a dog' was enough for me, but my husband said he should have ordered the 'like a horse' - size.

Ok - Edit
Enkele vegan opties. The Holy Mary met gehakt van de vegetarische slager was ok, maar heel eenvoudig. Met nog wat extra groente zou de spaghetti beter smaken.

Delicious and friendly - Edit
We really enjoyed the nice service and atmosphere.
Read moreEven though the vegan pasta was quite simple, it was very good. 13€ for a „small“ pasta (which was really enough!) is a lot, but I would recommend it nevertheless!
Pros: Three vegan main dishes, One vegan starter
Cons: Quite expensive (12 - 15€ for a smaller portion), No vegan dessert
