Vegan food in Intramuros!

On 8 June 2025, these vegan options were on the menu:
- wholesome sisig
- gising gising - vegan option
- kare kare - vegan option
- pasta mushroom aglio olio
No vegan ice cream. Right next to San Agustin church

Great spot to eat in Intramuros

Compared to the earlier reviews, they must have updated their menu, as they had vegan options for appetizers, mains and pasta when I went there this Monday.
I had the vegan versions of Kare Kare, Gising-Gising and some garlic rice.

All dishes were very flavourful, but the Gising-Gising was my favourite with interesting winged beans (sigarilyas) that I hadn't seen before in a coconut sauce.

If you are lucky, you can get the table next to the window with a great view over the courtyard.

Plant based Sisilog…

Ended up stumbling upon this cute little place for brunch which exhibits the ‘homeless artist of Ermitas’ work!
The plant based Sisiog was so so good. Packed with flavour!
Coffees were some of the best I have had in the Philippines.
Great spot even if they only have a few options!

Only 2 options but tasty

Looks like 1 tofu dish served 2 ways. Portion a bit small but very tasty. Bamboo gingerade was also really good.
