Read moreWent to grab a quick bite at Bastard burgers, torggata...but quick it was not as o waited 30mins at least to get a takeaway burger. It wasn't very busy either, so way to long to wait for "fastfood"..
The quality of their products aren't the greatest either, so if you want something quick and good, you might want to search elsewhere. ✌️

Bastard Burger is a chain found in Scandinavia. They sell meat but have an almost identical vegan 'green' menu which mimics the meat one. We had burgers and nuggets.

I’ve been eating here from time to time and I’m gonna say I’m never disappointed. The burgers are really tasty. The fries are crispy and the other vegan side dishes are always good, like the crispy no chicken nuggets. They also have a wide assortment of dips that are all vegan. The restaurant is is also quite nice and cool and the service is always great, only drawback is that it’s a little bit price but it’s totally worth it

I found the burger to be a bit underwhelming. Reminded me of a cheap McDonald’s burger but way too pricy for the quality it offered. This is due too the burger buns and too little vegetables on the burger.

Cons: Too expensive for what it is, Buns of the burger are like at McDonalds, Wasn’t full afterwards.

Annoyingly, they didn’t have any vegan options available today, so my travel partner made me walk all the way to another location. When I say they didn’t have vegan options, o mean they didn’t have any of the vegan burgers, chicken, or milkshakes.

Mehrere vegane Burger Varianten alle Dips/Saucen sind vegan. Die Fries waren mir etwas zu salzig, aber genießbar. Es gab auch ein leckeres IPA aus der Zapfanlage. Bestellt wird am Tresen und das Essen an den Tisch gebracht.

Fun interior and lots of seating. The food was good and staff were friendly. Vegan options were marked clearly. I didn’t see any vegan shakes on the menu though as previous posters did. Would recommend if you’re in the neighbourhood.

This is a burger joint with lots of vegan options! When I was there in September 2022, they had no less that six vegan burgers (all using the Beyond patty), as well as vegan mikshakes, beers, dips, sides, and more.
Read moreI had the Beyond New York burger, which is a classic, with chips and coke. The only thing I regret was not asking to get it without the mayo, but that's on me (I really don't like mayo).
I hope to try their vegan milkshakes at some point.
