Ich hatte ein veganes Kartoffel Blumenkohl Curry und es hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Auch Reis und Naan Brot kann man dazu bestellen. Es gibt aber auch weitere vegane Alternativen!:)

Essen im Touristenhotspot mit mittelgroßen Portionen - Edit
Waren hier zum Abendessen - an sich ein ganz gutes Lokal mit moderaten Preisen und hervorragendem Service. Essen war ganz gut, Portionen leider nicht ganz so groß. Zudem müssen alle Beilagen extra bestellt werden da sie nicht im normalen Preis inklusive sind. Das gilt nicht fürs thali wo papadam und Reis dabei sind inkl 3 Gerichten. Hatten die veg kofta und ein veganes thali.

Basmati is situated in what you can call a tourist trap street with staff trying to talk you in their venue. That being sad, Basmat had a lot of vegan options, and for example the garlic naan was served without butter (made it a bit dry but it was a good naan).

Lots of options. We had onion bhajis and vegan thali. The food was really fresh and tasty. Went back a second time for veg kofta and roti (ask for no ghee on roti)

Nice Indian - Nepalese restaurant - Edit
Clearly marked vegan options on the menu. We had samosas and garlic naan which were okay, and the thali and Nepalese momo were nice. I don't think I'd return, but it's nice to have vegan options in an area where most restaurants don't have any vegan options on their menu.

Vegan thali on the menu. Really delicious would definitely recommend. Lots of other options on the menu that look like they would be vegan as well. Nice cocktails and staff really friendly as well.

They actually have vegan dishes clearly marked on the menu..a rare thing in "omnivorous " restaurants in Funchal !

We had a good quality vegan thali, and a not very good vegetable biryani.
The interior is very basic and not particularly cosy or pleasant.
Overall, worth taking a look if in the old town, it's a decent option, although not the best, in my opinion, for vegan Indian in Funchal.

Got fish instead of a vegan dish - Edit
I ordered a specifically vegan dish and was served a wrong one with fish. Noticed after one bite and got sick. Was extremely disgusted and not able to eat the correct dish after this. Unfortunately a very bad experience.
