Base Base Base, Buttery Biscuit Base - Edit
After a refreshing walk with the dogs, we stopped by Base Wales and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to unwind. The outdoor decking was a perfect place to settle in, with plenty of water bowls available for the pups—small touches that make all the difference for dog owners.
Read moreThe food was a standout, especially the vegan tater tots with vegan mayo, which were crisp and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable of their products, knowing exactly what was vegan.
To finish, we indulged in two cakes: a hazelnut chocolate delight and a raspberry coconut creation. Both were superb, rich yet well-balanced, leaving us eager to return for more.
Base Wales delivered on all fronts: fantastic food, friendly service, and a relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be visiting again.

I shared the ultimate vegan sausage butty and loaded vegan fires which were great! Piping hot and super tasty. Came in the next day and asked if any of there cakes were vegan to which she replied yes all of them! AMAZING turns out her and her partner don’t eat meat so they love to have really good options which they do have. I had the Biscoff brooke never had a brooke before really nice and tried some of the blueberry cake which was lovely and then the ginger which i have to say might be up there with some of the best cakes i’ve ever had!! Fully reccomend and the walks at the park are brilliant to and the caf is dog friendly 🐶🐶
