Serves meat, vegan options available. Upscale restaurant with a veggie section on the menu which is mostly vegan. Dishes are local and international. Two dishes plus dessert for a set price at lunch time. Dessert choice is limited, however if informed ahead of time they can arrange a vegan torrija. Removed December 2022 - serves fois gras.

Ideal para ocasiones especiales - Edit
Fui en dos ocasiones y se agradece que ofrezcan un menú con las opciones etiquetadas tanto vegetarianas como sin gluten.

Always delivers! - Edit
I believe the review below is factually wrong. I have probably been to Bascook some 10 times, and always been very satisfied. The veggie dishes (easily 8 per day) are almost always vegan as they are, without needing any changes. Many different ingredients in each, make for a complex and exciting experience.
Read moreAs for desserts, it is true that the choice is more limited, but lately they have offered a vegan arroz con leche (with coconut milk). Otherwise there has always been, at the very least, some sorbet with berries, or something like that, but bear in mind it is possible to request the utterly yummy torrija.
On the whole, I genuinely find their dishes to be creative and very tasty, perhaps the only minor issue being that they hype the names somewhat: say they mention "spicy corn lotion", and it's just a fairly regular sauce. But all in all, it is always a pleasure to eat at Bascook, and their food is worth every euro.

one vegan option and no dessert - Edit
The place has cool decoration and menu presentation, is located in the center of the city, near the main touristic places.
Read moreThe menu is 35 euros with dessert. There are 4 vegetarian dishes and you can choose 2 from them. I took a hummus salad, pasta with garlic and they told me they didnt have vegan dessert. The pasta was okay and the hummus salad was not so good. I have to say that I found it pricey taking into consideration the quantity, that it wasnt specially tasty and that we didnt have dessert.
not coming again
