This is a very small restaurant way above town in an unexpected place! The owner was wonderful! I called ahead to say 2 vegans were coming and made a reservation. He made a huge spread… falafel, babaganoush, grape leave wraps, rice, hummus, freshly baked pita, saldas, tabule, what else???!!! It was amazing. We had a wonderful time speaking broken English/Spanish to this kind Israeli fellow now living in the highlands of BoquetePanama. Food was great and the atmosphere was rustic charming….some large oil drums with planks across sufficed for tables:) The sitting area is covered but open on the second level.
